Ultra Street Fighter 2

First, it’s now officially confirmed that Ultra Street Fighter II will have a new first-person mode. This was originally teased in the game’s debut trailer last month. It’s a unique game mode called “Unleash! Ha”DO”ken”, and is specialized for use with the Joy-Con controllers in a first-person view.

The box also shows that Ultra Street Fighter II will have some sort of art gallery. Players can view over 250 pages of artwork.

As one final note, the box contains a logo for the MT Framework engine. It does appear that Capcom’s mainstream engine is capable of producing Switch software.

From GAF:

Footage of first person mode.

Details about this mode from http://gonintendo.com/stories/274052...-on-way-of-the

Way of the Hado

- separate from the rest of the game
- can be played only with Ryu
- includes two modes:

Story Mode (with three stages: Beginner, Standard, and Extra)
Endless Mode

- Joy-Cons need to be calibrated at the beginning of each stage
- do this by holding them a certain way
- experience points apply to this mode specifically

... That was pretty grim.

Still, extra modes add value at the end of the day.

Apparently Streetfighter 2 collection is £3.99 on the app store, so it's weird this is 10x the price
Game prices for new system launches are always high. They know gamers are itching to buy anything.

Now if this game came out 3 years into Switch's existence, it would probably be $15 like SFII HD Remix was on 360/PS3 last gen.

I have been thinking that this looks a lot like that HD Remix last gen.

How much?
$40.

Compared to the almost 10 year old HD Remix, it has some extra content, but also strips away old features.

If you're itching for a cheap old school SF game, I'd get SF II HD Remix on 360/PS3 for $15. I've seen it on deal for $10, although the problem with an old XBLA/PSN game is that the online community will be dead. Switch's game is new, so despite it being a cash grab there will be online competition.

Eurogamer summed it up nicely in their article.
