Uncharted 4

Maybe not but an increase of Sony fanboy 10s and Xbox Fanboys 0s leads to lower scores overall because people giving honest scores aren't going to give a lot of 5s.

There's no evidence of any of it. I know they have about the same user scores atm, no way to assume there are all inflated with hatred or love.

When its obviously being trolled I am not sure what meaning it can have. The user reviews don't back upthe opinion of GAF which is why you brought this up so I don't know why we are talking about it.

All games are trolled. The opinion on GAF is pretty similar to the user scores, which sets below UC2, maybe its random idk.

Unless the game has a ton of set pieces in the second half of the game, I may actually agree with GAF users.

Although I preferred UC3 over UC2.

Seems overwhelming UC2 by reading through that, not only that, the game just came out and ppl are already siding with UC2.

Not counting people that haven't one or the other I did a quick count of the first two pages and got 39>37 saying 2 was the best game. So not overwhelming.

I do agree that over time people will probably consider 2 to be the best but I would say so what? Uncharted 2 was considered to be one of the best games of the past generation.

I've only played to chapter 10 so far. But there doesn't seem to be as many "Wow! " Moments aside from the visuals which are fukcing nice.
Is that to the E3 car chase, or was that 13? There is some great stuff after that :)

Yup. I got to the car chase and eventually to Avery's Island. Business is definitely picking up. It felt like Nate was on vacation before that.

I think I'm starting to see where the story is going as well.

Well, I beat the game tonight. The first half of the game was fun but maybe a bit boring. But my God does it finish off with a bang.

The whole pirate setting was incredible. The detail in the artwork was some Hollywood type s***. Seriously, it felt less like a game and more like a real location.

Like I mentioned, the pacing in the beginning may have been a little slow, but the gameplay is probably the best I've experience in this type of game. The gunplay, the mêlée combat (love the double and triple team moves) the climbing and platforming has even improved with some spots having you searching for your next move. The added elements like swinging were nice. I saw so many new animations throughout the game that its amazing. Enemy behavior was good for the most part.

The visuals, ha. What's to say really? The best I've seen as an overall package. The little details, too many to list, just gave the game a sense of place.

The camera work in this game is worth praise as well. Everything felt grounded and almost filmed at times.

I loved the story. The epilogue at the end that I didn't expect at all. I liked that they thanked Amy Henning despite the change of direction.

Basically, this was UC perfected.

I haven't checked out any of the filters other than the cel shaded one. I can't imagine trying to play it with the 8-bit filter.

They are fun to mess with for aminute or two, but not much else.

Lol. The 8-bit filter was kind of cool. But I didn't know if I was shooting at an enemy in the background or a boulder.

Congrats, Naughty Dog. Well-deserved success.

I can agree somewhat, it had some very slow parts. I still think its a great but pretty overrated game. The graphics carried it more than some would admit, I think.

I am just starting chapter 13, Marooned. I am hoping this game picks up after the past couple chapters. Now it is getting long in the tooth.

I debated not finishing the game at around that point and regret not doing so. it's a slog the whole way through, too much platforming and middling cutscenes throughout, and gunplay isnt that good either

That chapter sucks, lol. After all the climbing through the first half of the game it reached it's peak in chapter 13. Slow as all hell. It just got ridiculous, then after that the action really started to pick up. So i was like yeah, i still love ya Naughty Dog but you almost made me shut the game off.

wow in the new update they added the ability to tone down or remove motion blur!! thank f*** for that, time to replay the game

9 patches so far. I get one every time I load the f***ing game.

Well you don't have to DL the patches to play the campaign. Weird thing to be annoyed with.

man this game is not made to be re-played lol constant cutscenes and loads of walking

I enjoy re-playing Uncharteds, but you've got to wait a few years, so the memory fades. Immediate replay, no.
