"Sony has delayed the released date for Uncharted 4 to spring 2016, the company has announced."

"Neil Druckmann and Bruce Straley, the two directors heading up the project at Naughty Dog, said the postponement was necessary to ensure the PlayStation 4 game matches the high expectations from fans."

"Since we showed you our first gameplay reveal of Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, more of the game and story have come together, and it's become clear to us that this game is much more ambitious than we originally envisioned," both said in a prepared statement."

"After spending so many years with Nathan Drake, he means a lot to the team, and telling the climactic chapter of his adventures is a task we don't take lightly--this game deserves every bit of the attention to detail, precise pacing, and nuanced storytelling Naughty Dog is known for."

"So we've made the difficult choice of pushing the game's release date. Giving us a few extra months will make certain that Uncharted 4: A Thief's End not only meets the team's high standards but the high standards that gamers have come to expect from a Naughty Dog title."

Bummer. Hopefully we will still get lot's of footage at E3. I always hate when anticipated titles get delayed, but it's usually for the best, no matter how much we want them NOW.
 
The only game I was actually looking forward to this year...
 
I knew it from the beginning. I think delays are an essential part of advertising these days.
 
Question, what are the remaining PS4 exclusives coming out this year then? Both the confirmed ones and speculated ones. Can't seem to remember anything else than Bloodborne.
 
I'm not surprised. Sony always shows trailers for games that are still a ways off. I didn't expect this to drop this year. But on the bright side this gives ND another year to finish up and polish what is sure to be a great game.

Until Dawn, Tearaway, Ratchet and Clank, and No Mans Sky come to mind. Nothing massive like Uncharted though.

Boy, that's pretty thin. Ratchet & Clank and Until Dawn would be the only big titles, and even those I don't expect to make all that big a splash. I'm not even sure they've got R&C for this Fall. That's not good for Sony. They will have a few good indies, no doubt, but they're pretty lacking in the AAA, big-budget game category for holiday 2015. I thought they'd get it together for their second holiday, but I guess not.
 
One down four to go..... Actually, it may be two since the Xbox One is once again $349.

These two hotly anticipated games are on most people's radars. We've only seen very few snippets of both games thus far. While E3 will be the big reveal for both of these titles I just think that Naughty Dog and Remedy will need a little more polish to make sure the games are the best on either console. Quantum Break may eek into December but my gut tells me it won't.

Well it is tied in with the movie (yes there is a movie) and that is coming in the summer but other than that the game is mostly a mystery
 
Not shocked. Certainly not ideal for Sony, but doesn't bother me. Hope this means they will slate in GT 7.
 
Well if last holiday is anything to go by Sony will be just fine, I wouldn't be shocked to see a price drop this holiday either. I was looking forward to this game but I think most of us knew the delay was coming, the section they showed off looked really nice but when I read the interviews I got the impression that they just hadn't been working on the game long enough to get it done by the fall.
 
Gaf has imploded...already has 34 pages on this.
 
greatness awaits and awaits and awaits..

seriously this was one game I wanted for ps4, ah well to busy playing halo 5 and tomb raider so all good.

Not a whole lot, in the big-budget retail exclusive space. Until Dawn, Tearaway, and Ratchet & Clank, with the latter a maybe. Persona 5, I guess. I'm just reciting what other people in the thread have said. I haven't actually taken a look myself.

I don't know that any of those are actually Q4 though
