So, we got a new front page. What’s so new about it? The biggest change will be how the articles are displayed. Previously, our front page articles and news pieces had a different format which wasn’t all that popular. Now, they’ll look just like a regular forum post except for a little “Featured” badge in the upper right hand corner of the thread—just like this one! New articles will appear on the forum page and they can be dismissed.
As the front page grows, you’ll see articles of all kinds. Video game articles will be the most featured but not the only subject. As Union Video Game Forums grows, I would like what we cover to grow as well. We all have passions outside of video games. Some of us love films and TV. Others enjoy tech talk. The subjects will cover much of what is already discussed in our forums, but this time some will make the front page as well.
I would also like to introduce one of our new writers, Erics. He loves everything Nintendo, even the stuff no one else loves, so naturally we have him doing a review of The Amazing Spider-Man 2. We’re just kidding, Erics.
