Unreal Engine 4 tech Demo.... stunning

Looks great! But there are 2 things that bother me.

1) If you notice the reflections in the water don't update as fast as the camera. I've seen this happen with shadow maps.

2) There doesn't appear to be any GI.. Notice how dark it is under that rock cave. Bounced light would surely show more illumination.

But yea, very stunning tech demo. Something to look forward to 5-10yrs from now in a game.. :p

Yeah I don't how well it would run with these consoles.
I guess we will see how G4 makes use of the UE4.

He had 100+fps with a GTX 970. UE4 is surprisingly lightweight, I wouldn't be surprised if you could get something close, but with concessions obviously.

I don't think that's necessarily true. It looks like a weaker light situation- like evening. I've seen plenty of instances in life and pictures where there are dark shadows. If you watch the hi-res, full-screen version, there is certainly what looks like light bounces and plenty of depth in the shadows. It could all be baked for all we know (Likely) but that doesn't take away from the amazing image.

Not trying to take away from it at all.. it looks gorgeous. I was just mentioning some things that seemed "off" to me.
