Vtuber

I find being a Vtuber or a real time MoCap character kind of fascinating from a technology standpoint.

However, the way Vtubers kind of over-act physically to make their anime-puppet selves, well, more animated is kind of annoying. Add in their Cartoon Kawaii voice and it gets even more annoying.

I think PHIA is okay though. She is on The Virtual Reality Show channel as a 3D character instead of the common 2D. Her content is on VR or especially the VRChat platform or discusses related VR products and reviews. I'm not sure how much they fit into the VTuber format as sometimes their wandering the VR game world and not just a character stuck at the screen commenting on a video.

Also, the whole Vtuber thing makes me think of the old show Max Headroom. In that case it was a AI copy of someones mind roaming the media network screens, but I wonder if the show was ahead of it's time.
