For now I just put in the max number of choices, being 10. There are others of course, and you can just say them in the comments. I limited the poll to actual games that are officially announced and slated to release this year with an actual date. Games like Fable and Forza Horizon 4, Call of Duty Black Ops 4 are not officially announced for example, so they don't make the list. Maybe your most anticipated game for Xbox in 2018 is already released?

For me, State of Decay 2, Far Cry 5, Red Dead 2, Crackdown 3 are 100% buys. Code Vein and Sea of Thieves are wait and see for the moment. If Code Vein is as tough as Dark Souls, it will be removed from my list. If Sea of Thieves comes out and it is the exact same as the beta, it too will be out.

What about you guys?

That's some brokeback wallet right there my friend! I hope that Code Vein has a difficulty setting. I don't have time to GET GOOD anymore :(
 
Great list!

I choose Sea of Thieves but that’s probably more of a curiosity/rooting interest thing. Really hoping for a Rare comeback.

Red Dead obviously. Expect great things and the rumors of a PUBG mode make that game really interesting online as well.

Love Dark Souls so hoping Code Vein is a good knock off.

State of Decay has potential to become a pillar franchise. Hope with the extra time and X, the game loses the jank.

Crackdown is also a curiosity thing. Could either be groundbreaking and best experience of the year or a complete bust. Too many years hyping cloud physics to not deliver.
 
Not surprised by the FC5 and RDR2 taking the lead. Those are gonna be big.
 
Far Cry 5, Crackdown 3, Code Vain, The Last Night, and Metro Exodus. Also slightly interested in Sea of Thieves, Red Dead 2, and Kingdom Come. Either way will be playing all of these on PC.

Add The Last Night to my choices,I admit I had to google it to remember what it was ;) but yeah it looks great even though I am getting a little tired of those 16 bit looking Indie games...Far Cry,Red Dead,Metro Exodus and Crackdown 3 as well...
 
Very interested in RDR2, FC5 and The Last Night, slightly interested in Crackdown 3 and SoD2 as long as they've improved over the previous games.

I was over the 16bit indie game thing when it started, hell I was over that look when we were in the 16bit era lol but this one does have some unique visual elements that make it stand out.
 
As far as exclusives go, Crackdown 3 is the only must buy. I'm a wait and see with Sea of Thieves.
 
Sea of Thieves, Red Dead Redemption 2, Crackdown 3. I am sure more will come up, too.

Exclusive wise, Crackdown 3, and even that I'm worried about.

The Last Night looks awesome, I'd completely forgotten about that from E3.
 
SoT and Metro. Still don't believe Crackdown will ever happen.
 
Ashen and Below are still iffy for a 2018 release though. I want both however.

Honestly, the game looks... Like a game. I just think the screen I saw it on was maybe too small?

What's that other side scrolled they showed at E3? The one with the guy and his guitar. I'm interested in that.
 
FC5 & RDR2 are as good as purchased. I'll wait til we find out a bit more about Crackdown 3. State of Decay 2 I don't know much about but am moderately interested in. I don't really play any zombie games but that one seems to be closer to what I'd want out of one with the whole going out & scavenging element.
