Finished up Horizon Zero Dawn yesterday. Only have the trophy to find all the grazer dummies and I'll get my first platinum!

Not too sure yet what my next game will be. Thinking about playing original Metal Gear games. Otherwise only other game I'm really playing now is MLB The Show 17.

Black Ops 2. One of only a handful of 360 discs I kept.

Runs great, except it has really low sound.... I'm not sure if it was like this on 360 5 years ago.

Good to see the servers (or 360 cloud save?) keep all my stats.

Each time I've played it this week, the number of people online is 100,000 or more!

Started played the OG Metal Gear today, as in the one for the MSX. Not too far in it, maybe half hour, or at least what the game claims is a half hour because the save system is weird.

If that MG game is the same as the NES version, it had a weird save system.

If I remember correctly, it was one of those huge "input password" systems. Possibly the first console game I played that had that. I play a bunch, get killed and write down the password.

Then I'd input it when starting a fresh game, yet I would start at screen one from scratch.

Didn't bother after that. Refunded the game. And back then stores allowed refunds.

It doesn't have an input password but otherwise similar to what you stated. Seems like it only saves up to the last elevator that you used.

Are you playing it from the Metal Gear Solid: The Legacy Collection? Just wondering because I still have a sealed copy of the game that I bought on launch day and I heard that the digital code MGS 1 may be expired.

Yes it's from the Legacy Collection. I was afraid of that as well but my code worked. Didn't see anything on the slip for an expiration. Weird thing is I already had MGS3 HD from before and didn't realize it came with the the first two MG games. Also already had MGS4 so probably would have been cheaper just to buy MGS 1 and 2 from the store. Oh well still pretty cool to have the collection.

No wonder.

Back then, I was playing games on 5 1/4 disc on Apple II too. Saving a game meant saving a game at the moment.

That password system was a hassle, so I ditched it.

Still Mass Effect:Andromeda when I can get control of the TV, but I've also been playing the "Free Weekend" of Football Manager 17 the past two weeks. That game is still bloody addictive.

I'm nearly a month into the free weekend and it's still got me by the short and curlies. It's a little surprising since I'm somehow managing to be pretty damned effective for once; I always start in the lowest English league and usually I putz around for three or four seasons in the North/South and maybe make it to the National, and only once in a great while do I make it out of non-League and into professional football proper. But here I sit, having taken Harrogate to the playoffs season 1, directly promoted to the VNN season 2, promoted via playoff somehow to League 2 in season 3, and flirted with a playoff spot now in season 4 - with 5 games left I'm 12 points out so my stretch of two draws and four losses killed the playoff hope, but still. I've got a board that loves me, a bunch of youngsters who aren't supposed to be good enough but playing like it, and we're not losing money hand over fist despite paying off a stadium construction loan of over a million dollars.

Done:Horizon Zero Dawn... Great game!
Currently playing Yakuza Zero... So much stuff and so much fun! The most fun i have had with a game this Gen so far!
Next: Persona 5

Damn these latest gems on PS4 have really fired up my gaming passion again!

And soon Yakuza Kiwami,Wipeout and RDR2... 2017 is a bloddy fanf***ingtastic year to be a gamer!

Elder Scrolls Online. Tried it during the free week then bought it for $10 on the Spring Sale. Fun game that makes me feel like I accomplished something each time I play even with my limited time to game now days.

Starting to play COD4 Remaster more now that some other online friends picked up. Finally getting into the groove and having some good matches. MP5 is where it's at.

Battlefield 1 still. It is my favorite online game and a blast with friends.

I need to get back to Fallout 4, I got side tracked :(

Still playing Metal Gear 1 probably about half way through it. Surprisingly once you get past the fact it's an old ass game it's really not bad. MGS 1 isn't really a direct remake but you can see the influence in a few places. Probably will beat it this weekend and think I will start on MG2 right away.

Don't understand why the hate on RE6? Yeah it's not a true RE game, but it's pretty fun. Just finished Leon's campaign. Gonna start with Chris next.

Honestly, I didn't even know there was a RE6.

RE7 was too scary for me. I literally couldn't continue to play the game through the demo. I'm man enough to admit that. Lol they did something really special there.

Just finished Mass Effect Andromeda, and now I'll probably finish the DLC on Dragons Age.

After enjoying bouts of Sea Of Thieves, that is. Which REALLY shouldn't be played without a headset/mic. It's game defining, being able to communicate.

Yeah I heard RE7 will scare the s*** out of you. It's my next game up after I'm done with RE6 and Revelations 2.

You should try RE6. Not sure if you played RE4 but I thought it was the best and the most scariest game in the series. RE6 is not even scary at all if that helps. It's straight out nonstop action pack from begining to end. Another thing is that I made a mistake of playing it in normal difficulty because it seems Capcom made it too casual friendly. I think I only had like two deaths in Leon's campaign with A ranking in every chapter.

I've only beaten RE 2 and 3 but that series is on the list of me to go back to and beat from the beginning. MGS, Devil May Cry, and God of War is also on that list as well so I've got hundreds of hours lined up.

Battlefield 1 Campaign - PS4 Pro - Really enjoying this so far.
Skyrim Special Edition - PS4 Pro - Grabbing some easy trophies I never picked up and messing around a bit.

Love RE2/RE3 back in 2001 but I'm waiting for Capcom to port a HD version (1080p/60fps) of it to PS4 or PC.

As far as I know RE2 is still on track for a remake right? By the time I get around to playing RE 1 and Zero I'm sure it will be out. Hopefully RE3 is on the list as well.

Yeah RE2 is coming but it hasn't got a release date yet. Capcom hasn't confirm if there's a RE3 remake but most likely they will based on their track record. I also want a remake of RE Code Veronica as well. I played the PS2 version but never got to finish it.

Finally started Dishonored 2. So far I like it.

Still playing Last of Us Remastered for the first time.

Jumped back into Halo 5 after a break. Arena is still great. Online performance is worse than ever. Hope 343 finds new netcoders for Halo 6. Rediculous for Halo to have the worst online performance of every big budget FPS on Xbox.

There's a new Wipeout?

Beat Metal Gear 1 last night. Was a pretty enjoyable game for its age. Started MG2 just to see how it was and quite a bit different. You can crawl now and they have the radar. And the music is pretty kick ass.

Finished: Raiden Legacy Aces (360)

Playing: Ikaruga (PC), Persona 5 (PS4), Resident Evil 6 (PS4)
