What is your weird obsession?

Firstly, Congrats OTL on hitting 666 Threads. I couldn't let this opportunity slip, so!

Anybody else have any kind of infatuation with something?

One of mine is synced numbers like the above. Been looking at it every time I log on these past couple of days. Just think, you will never see those particular set of numbers on this forum for the rest of your life. It also happens to me with the odometer on my car...I don't know why I get fascinated (And sometimes sad!) when i realize that I'll never see those numbers ever again.

So! how about you?. What are you fascinated/infatuated/obsessed with?

I have this weird interest in free alternative operating systems. So far I've installed flavors of GNU/Linux, FreeBSD, and Plan 9 From Bell Labs. My little HP Mini Netbook is running Arch Linux.

I guess it intrigues me that there are so many good free alternatives to customize my computer and break away from Windows.

I can understand your numbers obsession. I can sometimes be similar with stuff like that although it doesn't seem to happen as much as when I was younger.

Here is one that I bet everyone has..ensuring the volume is on an even number unless it's a multiple of 5 e.g. 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10. Nobody wants to see their volume on 7. Nobody.

I don't know if it's an obsession, but I like making a list of content for wrestling DVDs. It might be an obsession by now since I've done around 15 of them so far.

My audio volume on 5 or 0, meaning, it's on 35 (when I want background noise that's low), 45, 50, 55, 60 and 65. If it's on 57, "Who touched the volume?!?!!!?!!"
