What TV show have you seen recently ? Episode one

We finished the last 3 episodes of Fear The Walking Dead. Show was really good the 2nd half of season 2. Looking forward to season 3.

I watched the first season of The Last Kingdom on Netflix. Pretty good. Very much more gritty and realistic than GoT.

Lucifer: I really can't tell if I like it or hate it... It has so much potential to be awesome, but it's very... I don't want to say Vanilla, so I'm going to go with "I can't beleive it's not butter"

It's like Charmed, but lacking Shannon Doherty (Best actress ever, f*** you Merly [Please forgive me Meryl! Please]) but super wholesome whilst attempting to be edgie.

I have The Exorcist season 1 recorded we are finally getting around to finishing it. Decent show till the bomb that hits at the end of episode 5. My mouth is still on the floor. Ready to finish up this show it is getting good.

Finished season 1 of The Exorcist. We liked it. If you are a horror fan or a fan of the original give it a shot. Don't want to say more it would spoil a couple things if you are a fan of the movie.

I've been watching british murder mystery tv shows lately on netflix. I'm hard up for s*** to watch right now.

Broadchurch is really good.

Happy Valley was decent.

The Fall is ok, lacks character compared to the others.

I think there's at least 5 more of these types of shows from the UK on there which is interesting.

I think Better Call Saul is back soon, along with Walking Dead so that's good.

Wife and I just buzzed through Santa Clarita Diet Season 1 on Netflix. Sometimes a little heavy on the corn but if you can just have fun with it there are some really really great belly laughs. Great cast. Non-stop zingers and too many moments where the banter hit home. Oh, and if you didn't know I had passed on this thinking it was some SoCal lifestyle show about dieting...not. Drew Barrymore is a realtor zombie trying to keep it under wraps with the help of her family.

The only downer is they left the final show as a cliffhanger and I am not 100% sure there will be a season 2.

watched an episode and a half of that, didnt grip me. it was alot more cheery then i expected, its pretty much a sitcom with a zombie mom

Watch Luther yet?

Watch Luther yet?

Yeah, I think that might have been what got me on this British murder show thing (I saw Idris and had to give in eventually, now I'm watching uk law and order s*** like a housewife watching soap operas)

Broadchurch is really good.

Almost done with season 3 of The Wire. Then comes the season I didn't like as much, the "media" season.

it's amazing how many actors you recognize in important roles after watching the wire.

"wait, i think i know that guy/girl from something else" pause show to the annoyance of the person you're watching with to figure it out.

One of the best collection of black actors in the history of television, if not the best. Michael K Williams, Idris Elba, Michael B Jordan, Sonja Shon, Wendell Pierce, Seth Gilliam, Clarke Peters, Frankie Faison, Isiah Whitlock, Wood Harris. Jesus, the list is endless.

I just watched the second season of Humans, a British TV show about life-like android slaves that start gaining consciousness.
A bit like Westworld, but it's a very British take. There's drama, but not as dramatic and emotional as American productions make things.
I like how it zooms right in and examines how it would be in real life, everyday life.

Halfway through the first season of Daredevil, I can't believe i waited so long to watch this it's great!

I'd have to go back an look to see if anyone had recommended the Netflix original, "The OA". Because someone should have. I am through the 1st 4 episodes of Season 1 and it has been absolutely gripping to watch. There is a scene in episode 2 where OA plays a parent to keep a kid from being expelled that was powerful.

This is one of those rare shows where bits and pieces are revealed as you go along taking you to places you had no idea it was going. If it matters, Brad Pitt is behind the production of this but not in it. The character development is fantastic and the story breaches something I have not seen elsewhere. Two early thumbs up.
