What TV show have you seen recently ? Episode one

We finished 13 Reasons Why last night. Damn those last couple episodes kicks your feels in the dirt and gets depressing. Good show and I have thought about it a lot at work today.
Yep! Hide the razors, hide the pills!

It's like, the producers saw that the term "trigger" was trending, and then they decided to make a show about trigger revenge.

For the longest time, I thought she was going to have faked her death. Then the last 3 episodes happened, and I sat up until like, 4am trying to finish the show, just to devolve into a s***ty feeling, crying mess.

Such a powerful show. I read somewhere saying that it's a childish attempt to cash in on the tween markets overt-need to guilt others about their emotional entitlement, but I think the feels hit you regardless of your age.

Keep kickin a betcha while they're down, even if you don't know it...

Just finished the series Genius. I really enjoyed it. An interesting look at Albert Einstein's life. Worth the watch. Geoffrey Rush should get a nomination for this one.

Noticed after it was over it said Genius season 2 coming next year. Looking forward to finding out who Season 2 will be about.

Fargo season 3 - Decent but not as good as the previous two seasons.

Can anybody explain the old man in the bowling alley? Was a weird scene.

Watching Supergirl. Which also means half-way through I had to catch up on The Flash and then I had to catch up on The Arrow. Good stuff.

Finished the new three part 30 For 30 on the Celtics-Larkers 1980's rivalry. It was really good. Was funny seeing when they would get rough on the court close lining each other, shoving, and fights on the court. These cry babies today couldn't handle that era.

Watched another 30 for 30. Not sure when it originally aired. It had a bunch of athletes and others involved in sports talking about their own experiences and others with financial problems during their careers and after retirement. Some of the stories are pretty damn crazy.

Recording the upcoming new 30 for 30 on Mike and the Mad Dog. It airs Thursday night on ESPN.

30 for 30 is s great series. There's a bunch on Netflix.

Just watched the mid season finale of Fear The Walking Dead. This season has been pretty good, I'm still enjoying this more than TWD. It just moves at a faster pace. Looking forward to the 2nd half of this season.

Watched Castlevania on Netflix and I enjoyed it but 4 episodes was nowhere near enough. Now I wish they'd make a new Castlevania game but with an open world along the lines of the Witcher 3.

Shooter on Netflix is better than you think.

Also, Ryan Philippe isn't dead, which was something I found out this week. Congrats to him.

Wow, I was about to start watching that today, but only 4 episodes seems like I might as well wait until they have the second season to check it out. Quite the cocktease.

Currently watching The Get Down on Netflix good stuff.

I also watched the Pete Holmes/Judd Apatow series Crashing on HBO, hilarious.

Rewatching Big Little Lies. 10/10

Easily the best tv show in years. The characters are so entwined and deep, the costuming alone deserves awards, and the performances from everyone involved are career defining. Nicole Kidman steals every scene with harsh vulnerability, while Laura Dern encaspilates far too many real traights that we can all identify with.

Awesome show is awesome. Watch it.

Watched the new 30 For 30 on Mike and the Mad Dog. It was pretty good. I did not listen to or watch them much when they were on the air. Glad they hit it big and paved the way for sports radio because I love it and listen to it daily.

Other duos I've listened to or watched since the beginning of their shows is Mike and Mike and PTI.

Watched the pilot for The Mist tv show. Had some cheesy gore and I did not not think it was very good. No desire to keep watching, I had the next 3 episodes recorded.

Started the new show Snowfall on FX. Watched the first two episodes, I like it. This could turn into a pretty damn good series.

Ive been experimenting with sitcoms to fall asleep to, and I've found the new lot wanting.

Speechless: it's desperately wants to be Malcolm in the Middle. Minnie Driver is freaking funny though. The show is kinda craptastic though. It has the guy with the speech impediment from Big Bang too.

The Good Place: a girl mistakenly gets sent to heaven, and is a complete bitch amongst a bunch of do-gooders. I love Kristen Bell's character, but they keep trying to make her seem good, when she's at her best being self involved and bitchy. And Ted Danson is super f***able for an old bloke.

Younger: the main chick is 40something, pretending to be a 23 year old. I have no idea who the freakin hell would believe that she is in her 20's though. She looks like she forgot to put her bottom dentures in most of the time, and she's as interesting as seagrass wallpaper.

OOk . So been catching up with American Gods, up to ep 7, and this show makes no real sense and seems to have no depth to it. Gods, war, weird thing, rinse & repeat.

The last episode gets really silly.

Kristin Chenoweth was a horrible choice for her god.

I watched Amelia Earhart: Lost Evidence it aired recently on History Channel. Interesting theory of what could have happened to them.

Now we started the new series called American Ripper on History Channel about H. H. Holmes and his possible connection to Jack The Ripper. Pretty good so far.

Snowfall? Who's in it. What's it about.

It is made by John Singleton (Boyz in the Hood) about the drug trade in the early 80's L.A., it's a pretty good show so far and laying the ground work to become a even better show if it makes it there. Not sure how well it doing ratings wise.

Currently watching ChannelZero on SyFy. It's an alright campy horror show. Only 6 episode season so figured I'd knock it out quick. Might watch Snowfall as that should be wrapping up in the next couple of weeks. Gotta get it watched before the episodes are removed from the FX app.
