Paul Christoforo, the now-disgraced dude behind "Ocean Marketting," got himself into a bit of trouble when he represented the video game company N-Control, makers of the Avenger Controller, in a marketing capacity.

Here's a brief synopsis:

Paul Christoforo Ocean Marketing Emails refers to an email exchange between a customer known as “Dave” and Paul Christoforo, the president of the public relations (PR) firm Ocean Marketing. The firm was contracted to handle customer relations for the Avenger Controller. a video game controller attachment popular among disabled gamers that allows the top facing buttons to be pressed without lifting their thumb from the analog stick.

Christoforo became notorious online after an email exchange was made public in which he responded to a customer with poor spelling, grammar and lack of professionalism. Some of the most often quoted Christoforo’s responses include “welcome to the Internet”, “son Im 38 I wwebsite as on the internet when you were a sperm in your daddys balls and before it was the internet” and “maybe I’ll put them on eBay for 150.00 myself.”

Well, N-Control ended up terminating their relationship with Christoforo, and he ended up responding with a lawsuit against them in April 2012.

N-Control ended up filing a countersuit against him, which made a mess out of the entire litigation. Both parties went back and forth, fighting over things, and extending the trial date, time and time again. After two long years, both cases finally settled in April 2014, with undisclosed terms from what I understand.
