Wonder Woman

That trailer was pretty bad ass, honestly I had no interest in this movie until seeing this. Now I'm looking forward to seeing it, looks great.

The only thing a little weird is she seems very much to have a role like Captain American while Batman has the team recruiter like Tony Stark. This is not a real complaint, just find it kind of funny.

How they going to join this to Batman v Superman?

Considering this is an origin movie and and going by Batman V Superman she did very little after her WW1 era escapades, I don;t see how they can join this to Batman v Spuerman and leave room for standalone growth and lore exploration. And it does need to join, afterall Batman v Superman is ground zero for the Justice League world in which all movies must connect to.

Plan is 3 films set before Dawn of Justice

So her films are going to be completely detached from the Justice League world? Seems like a strange way to go about things. Marvels approach of establishing the characters first and then having them all interconnect in the world of the Avengers seems like a much better thought out direction.

Does this the flash, Aquaman, Cyborg movies are all going to be detached standalones as well? What about the next Batman or Superman?

Last plan was to have some of them share movies rather than have their own.
For instance I don't see Cyborg getting a film to himself.

Batman will have stand alone movies but no word on another Superman film. But then reports say he shall be reborn more Reeves type.

I disagree that this movie HAS to be connected. For starters, they already got the connection out of the way. Lex Luther was spying on super powered beings, WW found out about it, investigated it, and discovered more people. The growth from that alone is that Batman and WW have the necessary info to discover the rest of the team in the JL info. The standalone movies should, in my opinion, stand more as an opportunity to define who these characters are, what they stand for, and what personal stakes they have to struggle with. That way, in Justice League, all that's really needed is a connection of these characters worlds into one unified group. We already know that Justice League is gonna have at least two movies, so there's more than enough room to deliver on those final ties. In my opinion, Justice League should act more as a "seven samurai" type of film. General audiences will already be familiar who the characters are, the first film should be about connecting them so they can fight what I presume is Darkseid or a revived Doomsday.

As for the film itself, I like it. It's cool to see them going to WW1, a place not visited nearly enough in my opinion. I also like how they're not just replacing the Greek mythology by explaining away these characters as "aliens with their own brand of science." Looks like it might take a little while to get to the action, my hope is that they give us a solid fight in the beginning.

Wonder Woman just got preggo...and this isn't even her first. So much for that scene where she cracks walnuts.:meh::laugh:

That is a horrible trailer....the good ol' days of the REAL Wonder Woman are long gone :(

Test screenings apparently happened last night and someone has posted very detailed spoilers.

Haven't read it but but by other comments say it sounds like Captain America in WW1.

Also the one but I did see said the fights have a bit too much slow down.

Nothing wrong with the first CA so if it's like that then no.

Chris Pine apparently steals the show

David Thewlis (professor Remus Lupin in Harry Potter) is cast as god of war Ares in Wonder Woman? I just don't see how he will pull it off.

By being the great actor he is... more surprised they went straight with Ares as the bad guy
