I am now that Meta Quest 3 is AR not just VR. Not paying ÂŁ500 for it mind you.
Nobody gives a flying f*** about these gimmicks.
As someone who wants Xbox to release games that they already have in VR on the Quest platform, like Flight Simulator & Skyrim (plus I want VR Forza & MCC ports), this will be a good way for Xbox to estimate how many Quest users also have Xbox consoles.
With Quest 3 having WiFi 6E, and upcoming Xbox Series X (Brooklyn) having it as well, you need nothing else for high speed wireless VR on Xbox. For current Xbox Series X owners, all you need is a USB -> WiFi 6E dongle.

What gimmick? You can literally play any Gamepass game anywhere you have WiFi, just like on your phone now, except you can play it on a floating virtual screen, as big as you want it to be!

Why Forza? I'd rather play that game locally, for better frame rate. Granted, I have a 100" projector screen at home, so if I used the Quest 3 for Gamepass, it would be for portability, rather than for screen size.
