I’m guessing with the headline for this years Xbox fanfest/showcase. Since summer game fest is on the seventh, and Xbox likes to collaborate along side them, of June , which is a Friday, and Xbox usually holds said event on a Sunday, which would be the ninth….um algebra?!

I wonder what HW they will show and/or tease? Handheld? I'm guessing maybe a last minute tease about the next xbox since it was already brought up earlier this year by MS themselves....
 
Will probably be a good one once they start announcing all the new games coming out in next few years.

They're going to try to go all out to win the hardware war, so they will call the next console the PS6 (PhilStation 6).

If they buy them and keep games multiplatform then I see it happening, it’s really a guaranteed way to get games day one.

It could lead to a small exodus of some devs. But Japanese like security and would probably like their new overlords and medical benefits. But if some creatives leave it could be for some better, as they won’t be stuck in their current creative confines they feel

"Microsoft is only teasing the Call of Duty direct as “the next installment of a beloved franchise,” but sources familiar with the company’s plans tell me that this is indeed Call of Duty.

This will be the first Xbox showcase featuring games across Activision Blizzard, Bethesda, and Microsoft’s Xbox Game Studios. I understand Microsoft is currently planning to announce a new Gears of War game during the show. The showcase will also include a number of release dates for upcoming Xbox games like Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, Avowed, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.

We’ll likely get a date on when the big Shattered Space expansion is coming to Starfield. Todd Howard recently revealed it’s due in the fall, and I understand Bethesda is currently targeting September. Activision is targeting the next Call of Duty for late October, with Avowed and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 likely to follow in November, and Indiana Jones in December.

I understand Microsoft has a lot of games to show this year, more than the 2023 showcase. We should expect to hear how the 2025 lineup is looking, with some launch dates for some anticipated Xbox games."

We know it is COD. You can tell by the picture. Literally pointless doing the redacted nonsense.

If those dates are true it is another terrible schedule disaster from Xbox. The Starfield DLC and Flight Sim should have come Q2. Way too much crammed in to Q4.. We have STALKER 2 in here too. Ridiculous.
