I’m having a ton of fun with Laser League. This game would make a ton if arcades were still around. Classic pick up and play action and I love the look of it. I’m looking forward to playing some more today.

If anybody wants some fun couch coop with family or friends, then I recommend Overcooked. Had a blast playing it with the family this weekend.

They better get us some good new ones to replace them!
I'm sure you will get some. Not sure it will match the number leaving, though. The service needs more Xbox One games, though. I mean why isn't Dead Rising 4 and Ori & The Blind Forest in there? Need some big 3rd party games too like COD, Fallout 4, etc. The service definitely lacks big games.

This is what bothers me the most about this "service" they seem to remove quite frequently, I'd be MEGA PI**ED is I was half way through a game and they decide to just remove it.

There’s plenty of notice in this case. So far I think they’re handling it correctly.

They aren’t going to get 3rd party developers to leave their games in there forever. This is to be an expected process.

MS have been open about this since the service was announced

I agree that they definitely need some bigger titles, especially to help sell the service. At the same time, I like that they have some of the smaller or lesser known stuff, as I am more apt to try them in a service like this.

MS leases the games from publishers, and the terms are X number of months at a time. It's the game publisher discretion if they want to renew at the end of the lease.

Agree. A lot of little games that I wouldn’t have paid for have been fun to explore with no risk. I believe this could be a great service for Indies to gain exposure. Most of the big games enthusiast gamers have already purchased. When they add older games, it’s those Indies and AAs that people are less likely to already own.

Definitely great for indies .. We are launching into Gamepass in June. Its a MP game so launching into gamepass gives us chance to build a community. And that check doesn't hurt either :D

I am not sure what exactly people expect from GamePass. We are not going to get AAA games every month. I feel Technomancer and Wasteland 2 are pretty good games especially for 10 bucks a month. Also most of those 20 games leaving are older 360 titles.

Sweet I'm happy with wasteland and the technomancer for the month. Games that I've looked at buying but afraid to drop the coin on something I probably won't finish.

Actually, we should get AAA games every month. MS should be getting AAA games every month. I am not saying all games should be AAA either...and it isn't like we are expecting new games. I am talking old title like Mortal Kombat X, Witcher 3, Arkham Knights, Black Ops 3, Dark Souls 2, Fallout 4 for example. All of those came out in what...2015. Hell, just one a month would be a big improvement.

I think it’s a quality month so far. Rumors are they will drop some more games into GamePass at E3.

I’ve nearly pulled the trigger on Wasteland 2 multiple times. To me, Wasteland 2 and Technomancer are the perfect older 3rd party games to drop into the service. Games that didn’t sell much yet have had some good critical reception.

When I look at the stuff I was definately going to buy or wanted to buy in 2018 that’s either in or coming (FH4) to Game Pass, I calculate $210 so far. That’s not counting the smaller stuff I’m trying out because it’s there.

Much like HBO, HULU or Netflix, the value is going to be determined by what you like. It’s not meant to be for everyone. I don’t see false or broken promises that should create so much negativity. Even if the games aren’t for you, they aren’t garbage.

I’ve always been interested in trying out Wasteland 2. Between that and me enjoying SoD2 I think I will keep Game Pass another month.

It would be great if we did but we don't have to. MS never promised that. The fact that we are getting 3 first party IPs day one on the service makes the service worth it imo. I totally expect this to be dominated by AA and indie games. And I am sure MS would love to get the games you listed on the service but those are high profile games and those publishers are not going to bring them to a service like this without a good amount of money. As the number of subscribers grow I would expect a few higher tier games to show up.

Nobody said they promised that. The Subscribers aren't going to grow with the current selection and the type of games being added. The service is far off what it needs to be to grow a big continuous set of users, a yearly sub is far too expensive with the trends this service has set.

This service is in its baby phase. There’s plenty to criticize Microsoft for this gen but Gamepass isn’t one of them. It’s going to have up and down months but adding SOD2 and Wasteland 2 within a few weeks of each other is not bad for a newish service during what is usually a slow period for gaming.

Gamepass is one of them. Far too many 360 titles, not enough X1 titles and nowhere near enough current gen big titles. Plenty to criticise. Oddly enough, it is very reminiscent of the issue the Xbox one has in relation to games.

Enough games for me to get well over $10 a month worth. The more it grows, the wider a net it’ll cast. To each their own.

Nobody is locked into a contract and it’s just one more option that’s not available anywhere else. Again complaining about this service doesn’t make sense.

I know for a fact that the subscriber numbers are growing. That coupled with some of the other plans I have heard they have makes me think its only going to get better. Its 10$ a month service. As long as I am getting games worth 10$ a month its more than enough. You are obviously entitled to want more as a paying customer.
