Xbox One keyboard and mouse support possible..

Any idea about a 3rd party controller for fps with a trackball instead of a stick for aiming/looking?

I still don't think I would use KB+M in any of the games. I'm just not used to it and I like controllers. Might be nice to use when searching the interweb though.

Would be cool if the actual system supported it, in particular the web browser. Would make a dramatic usability difference.

I don't get why people have so much trouble envisioning using a mouse and keyboard in the living room.. laid back comfortably on the couch... I do it every single night.

What's my shocking secret?

A piece of wood.

I would love this for snap functionality but I don't want it for gameplay....it's too much of an advantage.

Might use it to surf the web, but Ill stick to a controller for gaming.

I'm literally replying to this on a MS Arc keyboard, tiny yet comfortable to type on and sits on my lap with my feet up on the coffee table without slipping off, and a bluetrack mouse which tracks perfectly on my fabric couch cushion.

Don't even need a wood plank!

HTPC plus couch plus wireless input devices= :D

Im right there with you. It seems like Microsoft has a two screen agenda on the X1 though. stewing on this topic overnight, my though it, the keyboard for X1 will probably be your Windows 8 laptop.

This was possible on the Xbox 360 as well. I used them with FFXI as well as with Windows Media Center Extender. I think it depends if the developer implements it.

It's going to be kinda pointless. 360 already supported keyboard, so keyboard support is not surprising, but now every single X1 comes with Kinect, and I think it will make mouse and maybe even keyboard obsolete.
