Xbox One X

This is why I never really care about SP...replay value.

As someone who spent 200+ hours in Horizon and has replayed many of Sony's great SP games, and who couldn't put 15 minutes into most MP games without getting bored, I'll just say this is entirely a matter of opinion. The amount of enjoyment you get out of a game is a matter of subjective preference.

In fact, one of the main reasons I'm considering buying an Xbox One is to replay their great SP games.

This is incredible technology, it makes games with framerate dips under 60fps more smooth. Is this Xbox one X exclusive?

According to the DF video I think the S also supports it and I think they said that because the PlayStation also uses AMD tech that in theory it should be able to support it too but there’s been nothing stated so far by SONY.

I have to wonder why Sony was able to add HDR to the standard PS4, but MS couldn't add HDR to the standard Xbox One. Only the S and X.

Maybe they wanted to differentiate the X further, position it as an upgrade in as many ways as possible.

I know some people counted the fact that HDR was available on base PS4 as a point against buying a Pro.

Because the launch PS4 always had a HDMI 2.0a capable HDMI controller all they had to do was add support for it in firmware. Not the same case with Xbox One.

You legit think a top tier racer and action game are on the same level when it comes to scope, controls, narrative, and more?

I mean I freaking LOVE Hydro Thunder but if you asked me how good it is compared to Halo 3 I'd be like lol no comparison.
I hear ya but for a racer its solid..i just am tired of a new one being made every year.

I think Microsoft has been a little unlucky too with games that should have been interesting single player experiences, but fell short for various reasons.

I mean look at Sunset Overdrive vs. Spiderman. They don't always get a studios best work.

Not that SO wasnt good or Spiderman is a guaranteed hit. It just seems like there's a different level of effort or focus.
Nahhh SO was the best it could be for them as they don't have a brag worthy sling of recent titles which makes me skeptical of SM.

Halo 5 becomes one of the best looking games on console on X. The huge weakness before was a resolution, X boosts that with 60fps. Lots of wow moments.

Yeah Halo 5 is gorgeous on the X

The cinematics are nice but overall I think it's fairly average looking and the MP is really flat. I don't think the enemies moving at such a low framerate 15 feet away helps the presentation much either.

Halo 5 uses a lot of tricks to run at 60fps and it shows. At times it's dog ugly.

But Halo 6 should be a completely different story being built from the ground up on Xbox One after all this time with the hardware. X improvements should substantial.

Doubt the story will be worth a damn tho lol
