That’s probably why I liked it. It took me back to the Sega Genesis blast processing days. It worked on me back then. Lol
 
What HDD have you guys purchased for storage? I’m
Currently using a 2TB drive but it’s at 70% after deleting stuff I don’t plan on playing soon. Think I’ll want 4TB minimum.

I'm gonna look for an 8 TB HD during black Friday/ Cyber Monday. I've got a 2 TB external, and I don't have room anymore.

Yeah shadows popping in is something that sticks out like a sore thumb so the fewer instances of that the better

Before You Go

We have a few tips to share for those of you ready to jump in to our October Update.

Our October Update makes further optimizations to the storage it requires on your hard drive for both Xbox One and Windows 10. Expect a bigger download, but even with the new content delivered in this Update, your overall file size for Gears 4 will be smaller than it is today.

The October Update also requires the latest Xbox One Console Update. To download this Update in advance of the Gears of War 4 October Update, head to Settings -> Updates to manually update your console.

Planning on picking up an Xbox One X? You can pre-download our Xbox One X Enhanced content before you own your console by going to System -> Download 4K Game Content. Once this Update releases, you’ll be able to manually download the content for easy transfer (via external HDD or local network) once your console joins your Xbox family.

Don’t forget that only the Xbox One X has the power to take advantage of our Enhanced content, so please do not toggle this option if you’re not planning to upgrade. You’ll just be taking up storage space!

Yeah, even though I'll never be buying Forza I hope that we do get higher end assets for most games on the One X. I'll be buying an external HDD for sure, I love having one on my PS4 Pro and while I won't be buying as many games on the One X as I own on the Pro I do hope the games take up more space because of the added textures etc.
 
I've got 2 at the moment with everything on them rather than the internal.

Once I get my X I might move all the BC games to the internal hard drive.

Yeah when Sony finally added the feature I was really happy, I have about 70 games on my external right now, all that's on the internal is the share pics/videos and saves.

HDD speed makes a difference and X supports Sata 3 drives which should help even more so.
I am either getting a sshd or a 7200rpm external...disappointed in the slow 5400 rpm internal.

Am I the only one who has the download 4K box ticked but no games are downloading ?
