I kind of respect TOOL, but I've never been a big follower of them. Of course, every so often the innovative music videos they create will manage to get my attention. Their song Parabola does this in a big way for me.

The lyrics, vocals, music, and the video all come together like a gritty spiritual message with a strong audio/visual finish at the end. It all comes together taking strong influence from the painter Alex Grey.

Twirling round with this familiar parable.
Spinning, weaving round each new experience.
Recognize this as a holy gift and celebrate this chance to be alive and breathing.

This body holding me reminds me of my own mortality.
Embrace this moment. Remember. we are eternal.

Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds - Ballad Of Th…:

Not exactly my favorite song. But considering I hated Oasis and the Gallagher brothers, I'm surprised by this song. It has a really nice groove.
