Lol.‘Daredevil’ Hits Reset Button as Marvel Overhauls Its TV Business
Launched during the pandemic with a playbook to shoot $150 million-plus seasons with no pilots, the Disney unit is undergoing growing pains and seeing the logic of "traditional TV culture."www.hollywoodreporter.com
I just bought tickets and seems kinda empty, but then again I just found out and it’s kinda pricey where I’m going lol oh and on a Thursday, usually weeekday showings are pretty bad. But who knows, guess we’ll find out Sunday/Monday?Grace Randolph said she heard pre-sale tickets for The Marvels were as bad as a recent non-Marvel superhero movie.
Brutal like Ellen?
I’m not trying to defend him, but aren’t many actors known for being “brutal” with staff, be it the studios or their own? Like we’ll smith or Christian Bale? Like it’s a common thing, like Tim Cook or Steve JobsThere were already rumors floating through small sections of social media well before his arrest but even the CAA dropping him gives a lot more credibility to all the allegations about staff treatment.
He is good but the character doesn't feel like much of a threat after Ant Man. Closer to being played for laughs than the next Thanos.I liked Majors in the role thought he could’ve made a pretty good big bad going forward. Haven’t watched Loki season 2 yet though.
Lol @ them concluding 10 years in a great two part finale, then wanna retcon all that someway…
Not the same person/Variant?He is good but the character doesn't feel like much of a threat after Ant Man. Closer to being played for laughs than the next Thanos.
Seemed like he either wasn’t the main bad guy and or didn’t have his full power at the time. Either way he had a good screen presence/good actor. He is good but the character doesn't feel like much of a threat after Ant Man. Closer to being played for laughs than the next Thanos.
They and other studios are losing tons of money with the strikes, they heavily rely on said actors and writers to go out and do press junkets, talk shows, podcast, or be in ads or related stuff that promotes the movie, cast and crew (ie director/writers/artist). They’re losing more money with no promotion then had they pass for said promotion.I'm done with Disney. They just don't learn. All these woke flops so far and with The Marvels & Snow White still to come. The Blade story. Plus they want to cast Michael B Jordan as Hercules.
How many failures does it take? How much lost revenue does it take??
We don’t know if that’s the same character, in the first season it’s revealed “Oh, I've been dubbed many names by many people. A ruler, a conqueror, He Who Remains, a jerk. But it's, it's not as simple as a name. Eons ago, before the TVA, a Variant of myself lived on Earth in the 31st Century. He was a scientist, and he discovered that there were universes stacked on top of his own.”He is good but the character doesn't feel like much of a threat after Ant Man. The strikes are irrelevant here. They started when...Mayish?? Disney + alone has lost them like $10 billion since 2019. Their movies and shows were flopping all over the place way before the strikes. They and other studios are losing tons of money with the strikes, they heavily rely on said actors and writers to go out and do press junkets, talk shows, podcast, or be in ads or related stuff that promotes the movie, cast and crew (ie director/writers/artist). Which movies flopped? I thought only new Ant-Man as of late underperformed. The strikes are irrelevant here. They started when...Mayish?? Disney + alone has lost them like $10 billion since 2019. Their movies and shows were flopping all over the place way before the strikes.
Ant man Q. Black Widow, Eternals, Dial of Destiny, Elemental. Even Black Panther 2. Disney branded Little Mermaids $600 mill as a disappoinging.Which movies flopped? I thought only new Ant-Man as of late underperformed.
No matter how many variants this is real lame and I can't see people really being that excitedWe don’t know if that’s the same character, in the first season it’s revealed “Oh, I've been dubbed many names by many people. It was revealed that Kang in antman was “Kang the Conqueror” so there’s that link.
But also in Loki season 1 He Who Remains “isolated our time line”, the 616 MCU timeline, “the sacred timeline”.
I have some guesses, a theory if you will, but I wish not to spoil it, for it I am right, then um, I’m right right?
