Regarding the X1 launching in more countries thing, it's really hard to say because there are a lot of factors.
Is the Xbox a strong brand in those regions?
Are those countries' gaming populations big enough to make an impact?
Is the fierce demand for PS4s seen before Christmas going to remain strong?
Personally, I answer NO to all of those.
The regions the Xbox brand is strongest are English-speaking countries, and I think MS has played most of its hand already. The remaining countries will be a case of mopping up the crumbs.
Sony still has Japan up it's sleeve, there was no hurry to launch as MS was never going to take it and the Wii U wasn't looking to make any big moves.
Japan is less of a force than it used to be but it's still the third largest gaming market in the world.
The gap will widen, but the X1 has already established itself in NA, which is really its key market. So it'll be fine. No one should be holding their breath for a sudden jump in sales from the wider launch, though.

I agree with you, I don't think MS's launches in the other countries are going to mean big numbers. I think they are focused in their primary markets right now. I don't even know if they plan to release at all, in some of the countries Sony is covering.
I kind of see this as a boxing match. (Im a huge fan of boxing) Release was all about Microsoft and Sony sizing each other up and seeing what the other has on tap. Now that the initial hype has died down a bit, we're going into round 2. Its the battle of the software from this point on. Should be really interesting and entertaining!
I did bexouse somebody said PS4 games looked better on the 4 than PC, it was a joke.
I should have did this tbh. I'm already bored with my xb1 and I would be bored with my ps4 if it wasn't for bf4. I only got bf4 for ps4 because it was the better version so I could have easily been bored with my ps4 instead of xb1. It sucks even more because I'm a very picky person and hard to please when it comes to games. I'm not the type of person who will play peggle 2 or some stupid lego game.
Ho blow 5 bucks on a rental. A game you normally wouldn't buy, never know it might surprise you.

You should be open-minded about Lego games. That Lego City Undercover for Wii U looked great and got good reviews, too.
Does it matter, I do not have a Porsche but I also join a Porsche forum. As long as you are fan & intend to get one, I do not see the issue.
Beside, its not a XBOX only forum like TEAMXBOX where most of us come from.

You said sometimes PS4 multiplats looked better in areas than the pc version running maxed. That was untrue.
THere is nowhere that looks better than BF4 on pc ultra. I have AC4 on pc and my cousin has it on PS4, and while close, AC4 on pc maxed looked better. CoD:Ghost, again, while close, pc maxed looks better, even if it's an incredibly slight edge that doesn't make a difference.
I'd agree.. I think both will be similar sell through numbers.. Just different regions, etc.
its obvious that Sony appears to be holding/ prepping for the Japan release.... So I'd expect another surge of sales when released there...
we'll continue to see solid numbers out of both for the next 3-6 months with Sony maintaining its current lead..
it'll be interesting to see the actual console numbers jump when the first wave of exclusives hit - I think halo will be huge later this year..

PS4 is winning in UK, but we really won't know about the US until December NPD comes out. Regardless as MS has shown this generation, who ever wins the US and UK is at a pretty big advantage since the two aforementioned are the biggest markets.
Yeah, we've got some interesting landmarks coming up:
1. NPD (unfortunately, Sony doesn't release their numbers, so we'll have to speculate and look at differential sales of multiplatform games to get a clue)
2. Sony releases in Japan (gifs of Japanese people standing in line politely, bringing shame to all Europeans)
3. How will the exclusives do, and how will they affect sales (I fully expect Titanfall to trounce Second Son, in terms of its impact on sales ... that's a real crowd-pleaser)
4. When demand is finally met, what will sales ratios look like then? This will take many months.
Some are identical and some look better ac4, nba 2k14, injustice, trine and cod are my examples.
I don't get it. How does AC look better on PC? It is the 60fps? Because if not, then you are really just going on a rant over the most miniscule of differences.
Because visuals go beyond just resolution.

I can only speak for the ones I mentioned. AC4 looks better on pc, sorry, it just does. BF4 ultra on pc is better all over, sorry, it just is. CoD:GHost is at best identical, with some parts better on pc. I've yet to see the PS4 being better. With that said, PS4 and pc are near identical, to the point of not being able to tell the difference....but nowhere is ps4 version better than on pc maxed.
That's exactly what hes doing.
If he were to say with a capable pc and display he could improve the AA and make the resolution over 1080p while also getting a better fps AVERAGE then the 1080p console equivalent he would have a minor argument. But then he's making a different point as I am referring to 1080p vs 1080p. If he wants to say well the AA can be improved...okay but that's a added enhancement that is pretty minor/not noticeable much at all.
