Of course. Yet they want the games on PlayStation. Gaming has become too depressing nowadays.
He is a good actor , they chose a good one to be Indy.
The game looks pretty good but I thought it would be third person.
Yeah I know for cutscenes and transitions it does but not main gameplay.
Could be a blessing in disguise as it doesn't have to deal with the crowd who would compare it to Tomb Raider and Uncharted.
Perhaps later they might add a mode to enable 3rd person?

The bit they showed when Indy is punching the guy reminded me of the combat in Escape from Butcher Bay.
Machine games are the founding/of members of starbreeze, from what I know (which is very little) they’ve only made games that are first person.They would have loved it if it was in 3rd person

I know they made Wolfenstein and those are all FPS so perhaps they are more comfortable with it.
The comments on the YT vid of the trailer are extremely positive! Very cool. I was iffy on this one, but now very excited for it.

As I said in the other thread I'm pretty pumped for this as a big Indy and machine games fan, I'm just thankful they didn't go to create another bloody third person treasure hunting game.
I am concerned that it'll be awkward to play in first person (melee rarely works for me in first person); Even Cyberpunk, in which I mained a melee character could've been way better in third person.
That said, I'll give this game a shot anyway.

Glad they made this 1st person. Otherwise we would've had another Uncharted or Tomb Raider (which is ironic as the first Indy game inspired those games) and this one separates itself nicely. Not only that it switches to 3rd during traversal and platforming segments so it works in my book.

3rd person may not have worked for them, all they’ve done are first person games, good ones at that…
Riddick did fine, so did Breakdown from Namco.
Both of those were just alright for me. Even The Darkness, which did FPS melee pretty well seemed a bit off. But yeah, it's just an issue I have with FPS melee.
