Good news everybody! Futurama coming back on Xbox?

Hmm. Interesting. You know, I haven't thought too much about Xobx's possible original programming, but they definitely have an opportunity to do something here. Not specifically with Futurama, but with shows that may have had a cult following and were canceled on network television too soon. And if they get a few hits with some original shows then they could have something here. As long as you only need an Xbox Live subscription for it and no other extra costs, then i'm all for it.

How about letting me stream the entire Simpsons series. Use money for that.

Better yet, start with reviving Firefly. If MS can pull that off, then I'll be eternally grateful.

Honestly, that would be awesome. I have been thinking that Microsoft should do what Adam has said, create a gold members only streaming service. That would allow for new members to justify the purchase (even though I think live is outstanding already), and allow me to cancel Netflix lol

i havent watched the last one. Is it like how Arrested Development ended up on Netflix?

Yeah, and I was so amped for the return of Arrested Development on Netflix only to be completely disappointment by most all of the character-centric episodes (Tobias Fünke is still hilarious, though). I guess I understand why the producers did what they did in terms of the latest season's format, but the end result was...well, "lacking."

Back on topic, I'd love to see Fringe make a comeback. :)

Bring back Stargate Universe, please!!!1

heck no, universe was a horrible mistake imo. Compared to the other series the only thing this show had in common with any SG was the gate, and that was barely used. They had an opportunity for amazing things, lost in galaxies unknown, and we got what 1...2 races from how many galaxies? It was an attempt to ride the BSG drama.

SG-1 and SGA were amazing, universe bombed, a reason it lasted 1ish season.

While I whole heartedly agree that it fails in comparison to SG1 or SGA, I think our only hope of more Stargate is through Universe, and even that hope is dying quick. With no hope of Atlantis movies being made, any Stargate is better than no Stargate.

Also, if you stuck with it through the end of the series (which had a full 2 seasons not 1ish), it actually started to get really good.

The whole ' I'm a good guy, now I'm a bad guy' persona of the scientist and the dynamic of his relationship with the ass of a captain was very contrived and got boring very fast

I'm torn on this. I'd LOVE more Futurama but I feel that the series and specifically the last episode ended well and doesn't need a revival.

I think the trouble for me was SG1 and sga, had scifi first or presented it that way, the places, the technology, the weapons, the races, the myth. And along this scifi ride we got characters and plot. It was not always guns ablazing as we know, but even those episodes had deep 'history' plot of the science the ancients etc. Oh and 1ish was a stab that it took 4ish episodes to have anything happen imo.

The comes along SGU, and I had high hopes, i stuck with it through the end. But each episode I was left with...huh? It took like 11 episodes for them to contact an alien life form and does so with the 'stones'.

At any rate, it had a solid foundation but was trying to be this BSG soap opera. I used to say I felt like SGU was the bastard child of Voyager and BSG. Voyager, did it great imo, tons of races (their first episode they met a race), tech, and allowed for drama of the crew and them growing.

I would love another SGU done in a voyager exploration type of role. I really did enjoy the basis because I enjoyed Voyager so much.

I can agree with most of that. I think to me it's just that it's Stargate and by default I think it's awesome, lol.

Doesn't have to be Stargate Universe, start a new Stargate series.

How about Stargate Future - 100 yrs on from where SG1 left off.

maybe we need to start a tweet and get stargate to xbox one :)
