Episode VII: Dark Empire

I hope not, what a terrible series. That is the single most repugnant part of Star Wars CANON.. well before Disney stepped in and cut out anything that wasn't a Game, Movie, or Television Show. They should really create a live action film with the Yuuzhan Vong so people can talk about how 'dark' SW has become.. HAH

Luke better be taking his place as the keeper of the balance after what he did with Darth Krayt.

This would be cool. Now that Lucas isn't the main man behind the series, maybe we'll get a little more mature and serious tone for the series...but I'm not holding my breath.

He's not writing the script nor directing (what made the prequels so bad) but it is still his show for Episodes 7, 8 and 9. His stories are good.. if they weren't you wouldn't love Star Wars. The problem was the script (how it was written), because the novelizations of Episode I and Episode III were spectacular. Then again, Mathew Stover wrote Episode III and his brilliance with Star Wars is unrivaled.

Lucas ruined the original trilogy with his constant tinkering and trying to make things 'perfect'..this is why I only watch the despecialized copies

The rumor is that Benedict Cumberbatch will be in this movie, so in that case I will see it regardless of the title.

Yes, the OT are the best versions, not the ones he re-released later on f***ing with them, like the specialized versions..and then the BD copies.

What changes bothered you most? I disliked the ending of Return of the Jedi most. Showing the celebrations across the Galaxy immediately after the Death Star II exploded made no sense... but neither did stone age furries defeating the best Storm Trooper garrison in the Empire with Stones and Logs..

HAH.. *weeps*

To me, the one change that irks me the most is changing out the ghost of sebastian shaw to the ghost of hayden christensen at the end of ROTJ. Just seems like such an insult

Shaw represented Dark Anakin. That is why he was replaced - I am not saying it was okay, but it makes sense.

Hahaha.

I dunno, to me he represented a redeemed vader, and hayden representing the dark version. I guess I'm just a fuddy duddy that doesn't like change :p although I couldn't stand all the CGI crap he put in earlier either... with Han walking through Jabbas tail lol

Didn't see the movie in theaters. Was it any good, or the usual comic-to-film rubbish?

Story-wise, it is better than the original movie. Plenty of actions here and there. I'm long-time fan of Wolverine (15+ years) and I love when he is in Japan. That movie suppose to be inspired by the first series of Wolverine (4 mini-issues, written by Chris Claremont/Frank Miller). I haven't read it yet, though.

Well you couldn't get much worse, story wise, than the first movie... I've always liked Wolvies comics, so I wanna see this, I heard the action in it is really good.

What made the World War Zimmerman episode so great was after all these years Cartman is just a pure evil racist.

No s***!
Black guy at the back!

Stan and Kyle seem to have taken a real back seat so far this season.
