I read Gamespot's review. It was extremely positive with just a single sentence of negativity
Cheers menace. Couldn't wait so just bought it from the US store. These reviews are really fantastic. It was sitting at 87 last time I checked but felt closer to a 90. Well done MS well done. Such a fantastic lineup this year and hopefully this trend continues to be bigger and better next year.
Man forget my wallet, I'm burned out right now. Halo, then BO3, now Tomb Raider and Fallout. I barely played a bit of everything so far which I feel bad about because I want to play them all a lot more. Goddamn.

I'm a couple hours in. Really enjoying it. Turned off survival instincts which totally makes it more interesting since its forcing me to pay attention to the environments. Now if I could only turn off the prompts that say to use survival instincts lol.
It's funny how EG pick this game to complain it does nothing that couldn't be done on last gen minus the graphics.
That can be said for every current gen game and you can bet they won't say it about UC4.

EG is just a trash site you should avoid unless you like trash. And the legions of sheep that are its members stroking eachother endlessly and furiously.
Played half an hour so far and it's just excellent. Incredible how it's only 20GB but is maybe the best looking current gen game. If I had to sum up this game in a sentence it'd be that IT'S SO MUCH FUN. That first intro level was just bananas in a good way. After so many shooters it's such a breath of fresh air to just go on an adventure and enjoy the view. Which TR does best. During that snow storm I was just looking at it and how beautiful it looked until I died lol. And that hair...other characters don't seem to have that hair physics but Lara's hair and how it moves with the wind is just something I've never really seen. It's these little things that add up.
