The Walking Dead (TV) **NO COMIC SPOILERS**

I'm getting tired of watching TWD, especially after watching Fear the Walking Dead. FTWD is a far superior show, mainly due to the pacing of each episode. The characters are also more interesting in FTWD. I suppose TWD's lack of complexity and poor pacing is partly due to the fact that it relies heavily on source material, which is also pretty slow.

I agree with the pacing and the storylines. I have to say that FOTWD is more script and character development driven. I really liked this past season of FOTWD!
With that said, I almost threw up last night.

I can finally see them wrapping things up in another season.

I didn't think much of this first episode.

I got bored of FTWD somewhere in season 2.

Only watched the 1st season. They were already back to what the original was doing...surviving.

I actually liked the plane story you'd see during commercial breaks. That held my interest.

From a writers perspective, last nights episode was - for the most part, pretty damned smart. It effectively gave the franchise a huge adrenaline shot to ensure at least another 3 -5 seasons. It's almost as if the group is kind of "back to square one", but with a much more dangerous threat than the zombies themselves. The brutality was over the top but needed to be. Had I not see the justification from a creative stand point, I too may have sat this season out. It was there however, and it definitely ensures this season will be the most watched in all of TV.

s*** I'm still scarred, but I fully intend to see how things pan out. The revenge hook did its job effectively. Good stuff.

Great episode! My problem with this show is they will have a great episode then fall back into not much happening filler episodes trying to lead up to the next great thing. I hope this season stays intense and interesting.

We are a qtr of the way through FTWD season two. Trying to finish it soon.

Apparently they filmed several death scenes

No doubt. Fear the Walking Dead is turning out to be a great show. It started off slow and was always going to have that spin off downplay from the start even though it's a true prequel but i like it. Characters are better in TWD in my opinion but FTWD is getting much better. It's really starting to come into it's own.

At this point it just seems redundant with what they can do with The Walking Dead. Go from point A to point B. Make a shelter. Fight off the new bad guy and repeat. It's like that for any show and there's still a lot of story to be told but i don't know. Negan is definitely the best villain on a show that i can remember though.

Since the first episode it has still been pretty good. Negan is going to steal this season he is great in all his scenes. They definitely went with the right actor.

Ha! Last nights SNL with Dave Chappelle was actually pretty solid from start to end which is incredibly rare for that show, but he did a skit with him as Negan and a bunch of his classic Chappelle Show characters re-enacting the eeny-meeny scene and it was absolute gold!

No revenge and it's getting a little grim for me. I need some payback and I need it now! Story is becoming fractured ( I know, ...because dat 'comic book') and everyone's micro story isn't enough to carry a full episode. IMO.

So Chandler Riggs might be leaving the show which would completely shake up the show unless they recast coral.

I thought there was something strange with Daryl blinking when he saw Rick back in Alexandria 2 eps ago.

It was morse code! I.E.A.S.T.
