Xbox One X

I don't know about you guys but I can't watch unboxing videos anymore, they are just for clicks and offer nothing of interest IMO. I saw part of one on a channel I sub to and the guy got a ton of free games, we won't be getting those so it's really not applicable to us. Seeing people take things out of the box when we already know what's in it seems like such a waste of time to me now a days.

It's only interesting if the YouTube is funny..

The day many of us have been waiting for is finally here, War Thunder is coming to Xbox One with Xbox One X support.

War Thunder's arrival on Xbox One is surprising, given its prior PlayStation 4 and PC exclusivity - many having assumed it would never make its way to Microsoft's platforms.

War Thunder is developed by Gaijin Entertainment and is a popular military vehicle combat massively multiplayer online game (MMO). As with many MMOs these days, the game is free-to-play and features cross-platform support. The title brings air, land, and sea battles directly to your living room. It also features carefully researched and reconstructed vehicles ranging from the Spanish Civil War to the Cold War period.

War Thunder offers over a thousand playable aircraft, armored vehicles, and ships. American, Soviet, British, German, Italian, Japanese, and French military vehicles are represented in the game. The title got gets regular updates too, so there's always fresh content to explore.

Anton Yudintsev, Gaijin Entertainment's CEO, issued the following statement as a part of a press release:

Our fans have been asking for War Thunder on Xbox One and we have been working toward bringing its crossplay experience to them. We are thrilled to announce that we have reached an agreement with Microsoft to bring War Thunder to Xbox One and Xbox One X. More than 20 million players have enjoyed War Thunder across multiple platforms and we cannot wait for Xbox One and Xbox One X owners to join the battle.

It's great to see War Thunder finally make its way to Xbox One and Xbox One X, especially after years of demand from console users. The game features "true 4K resolution" on Xbox One X. We don't have a concrete release date because the game is currently in development but we'll update you as soon as we do.

It's only interesting if the YouTube is funny..

Yeah the right youtuber may make a video that's funny that happens to also have an unboxing in it. Thankfully I think the trend of unboxing video games is over, I couldn't believe people would watch someone open a PS4/X1 game case just to see the disc and manual if there was one included lol. Talk about lazy for click videos lol.

Saw this on Neogaf, I apologize if someone else has already posted it. This isn't confirmation that it isn't btw just that it may not.

Battlefield 1 may not get Xbox One X enhancements

Responding to Tweet on the official Battlefield Twitter account for Germany, a representative has stated that at least for now, Battlefield 1 won't be seeing specific enhancements to take advantage of the additional resources offered by the Xbox One X. Nevertheless, like other Xbox One games, the title will still be playable on the console.

I saw that, and I’m surprised since I’ve heard otherwise. Plus it shouldn’t be difficult to do.

Some people were speculating that EA might not want to steal the spotlight from BF2 when it releases.

I keep tweeting Dice but nothing yet.

If it doesn't it's probably just because the game is going to be a year old by the time the console launches and they don't want to put the resources into it. I still suspect it may get an upgrade but I would think since MS had a marketing deal for it to begin with that they'd have said something about it well in advance and not been so quiet about it.

Odd, seeing as MS is pushing and including Battlefield 1 in the review versions of the Xbox ONE X.

EA continues to do puzzling things. I thought they were improving in some of their behaviors towards the end of last gen into the start of this one. After rushing out Mass Effect, closing a good studio, bailing on single player games and showing no signs of improving their sports franchises this gen, I’ve lost faith in their leadership. This is just one more stupid thing. Sucks that they are the only ones making NFL and NHL games and have the Star Wars license.

It still may get the One X treatment but for some reason they aren't ready to announce it yet, doesn't make sense but then again a lot of things don't :)

I take it that the dashboard will be rendered in 4K on the OneX for us with 4K TV? Not seen it confirmed anywhere

I would think so, the one in the Pro is native 4K so there is no reason for the One X not to do it.

Xbox One X Is A Big Leap Over The PS4 Pro, Will Push Game On More Powerful Hardware – Project Code: SHIFT Dev

"“Both Microsoft and Sony are pushing the visual boundaries,” they said. “Even with Nintendo, we can see that visual boundaries can be pushed with more creative ways to utilize hardware (a less powerful one too). From a development perspective, the Xbox One X is such a big leap that I’d have to say it’s Microsoft now.”
They confirmed that they will leverage the more powerful hardware of the Xbox One X to ensure that their game stands out more on the more powerful system.

“Early in the development, one of our concerns was whether players would be able to tell the visual difference because of the animated art style and the camera distance from the action,” they said. “So we’ve taken steps to make sure we utilize the hardware in as many ways possible and pull some tricks from our own sleeves to make the game stand out more on machines with more powerful hardware.”

As long as they push to give us more exclusives this is great.

Is Halo3 as part of the MCC getting the X1X enhanced version ?

The only thing confirmed graphically is that they're looking to "increase fidelity and improve performance". Fidelity referring to resolution at least and performance being framerate; with framerate being priority.

I don't believe any specifics about which games are getting what or any other points were discussed so far.

Microsoft should have put a live Scorpion in there. Now, that would be an entertaining unboxing video.

Radscorpion has hit you for 6 points of damage. You are dead.
