I'm not sure I'm the best person to ask really. I enjoy most movies, books, etc I read so I rarely give harsh reviews on anything. Both books definitely added more to the story. The second is focused more on a new character and around the actual Southern Reach agency and trying to figure out what is going on. The third book changes perspective each chapter and provides more backstory on the area prior to the event and obviously wrapping up the story. I thought the third was better than the second just because I liked the changing narrative and backstory.Still haven't started the second one of Southern Reach. Do you think its worth it as a trilogy?
