Hello, my name is Todd – and I’m a Community Manager for Little Red Dog Games, which has just launched an epic sci-fi point-and-click adventure game called Deep Sixed. In it, you play as a “convicted criminal” who gets assigned to a space station to work out her sentence. Sounds simple, right? Wrong. For in space, there’s a lot that can go wrong, and you’re about to discover that first hand.

Deep Sixed has you handling missions for your “bosses” in Astra Interstellar Solutions, all the while having to keep your ship from falling apart at the seams! And did we mention aliens? It has those too, and you’ll need to shoot them down if you don’t want your ship damaged.

You’ll need to pay attention, read your manual, know your ship – and know when to get the heck out of dodge … because you can’t be free from your sentence if you die. Does this sound like a game you want to try out? Do you think that challenging games are the best ones? Are you eager to try out a cool new point-and-click game? Let us know – because Deep Sixed is available now on Steam!

Thank you for your time.

Technically, I'm pretty sure once you die you are free from your sentence. It'd be pretty funny if they made your corpse finish out your sentence before a proper burial.

I assume it's the future and the tough-on-crime crowd wants to remove any human failings from the application of justice, so if you think your corpse could convince SHODAN to kindly let it rot in freedom, more power to you.

Parole hearings would be quick anyway.

How about in exchange the free advertising I gave you, you give a few codes for the forum members to use so they can provide some feedback for you? I always support independent developers and they should in turn support independent video game websites as well.

And a review? :) ;)

“Fair enough! I can DM you 5 keys – and you can make them available to forum members. How does that sound?”

Looks interesting, getting good Steam reviews as well.

Had some time to check it out quick. Did the first mission and it was pretty good. Don't play too many games like this, and I see it compared to the likes of FTL which I probably bought during some Steam sale but never bothered to install. Anyways definitely going to play some more but I like the premise so far.

I played through a little last night, although without volume as we were also watching TV so I probably missed some audio cues. Got through the initial mission fine, did some small upgrades, went out on the second mission and failed spectacularly at surviving. Definitely good times.

lol. Haven't had a chance to play again. Haven't really played anything since. But I did upgrade a few things on the ship after the first mission so we'll see how it goes.
