I picked up ESO awhile back for $10. From what I played at the time I really liked it. I just got side tracked and never went back to playing it. These new expansions is giving me an itch.

I for one thought the game looked nice for a console MMO even on the One S. I haven’t played it since getting the One X, I believe it got a X update.

It indeed did, native 4K res, and better effects, it got the best of both PS4 Pro modes which was either 1080p and better effects, or Native 4K with no upgraded effects.

If they could get the skies from Oblivion/Skyrim into ESO I would look even better :) I don't mind the more arcade feel of the ESO compared to the single player games to be honest, one thing that's frustrating when playing the standard games is missing with magic, especially early on when using a spell twice can wipe out your mana, it would be nice to have a lock on feature.

Playing Oblivion again also reminds me how fond I am of the spell creation set up and how bummed I was when they removed it for skyrim.

One last thing and I know I say this every time a CGI trailer for a game comes out that looks good but who else would love a full length CGI movie in the ES universe that looked like these trailers for ESO? they do such a good job with them.

These look so good, the people who work on these are clearly very good at what they do.

All I could think about was how terrible an assassin she was, lol. Why didn't she just drop down on top of him? Why all the waiting and posturing? That and killing armored robots with a small knife. Yeah, yeah game, but they make a lot of logical concessions just for flippy-cool.

Because they have to spend that budget on something! lol. It looked awesome, didn't make much sense but it looked great. Makes as much sense as a tech demo showing stuff you can never do on a console right? :p jk

BTW The more I play this game the more I like it, it doesn't really feel like traditional ES but it's still a lot of fun.

How are you playing it? In groups, solo, or a mix?

Anyone here play regularly on Xbox One? I've recently got back into it have probably about 300 hours now. 266 Champion points currently, dps, would definitely group up for some dungeons or world bosses or whatever. I'm mostly PVE.

Wish it had cross play, is team up with some of you guys. But I'm on PC
I'm on PC as well although not very far with the characters I already have created, and I'm thinking of just starting a new one. Not sure what level you would be at if it would even work for us to meet up sometime.

I play it occasionally, or well uhh...try and and play it. I think I am level 5? idk. I need some veteran guidance on this game. lol

Haha, that's fine. The cool thing is in this game the enemies scale to your level (some dungeons have a minimum scale level), so it's always possible to play with anyone else and have fun, at least with PVE.

I have about 4 characters going, they range from levels 4-10 right now.

Has anyone tried the warden class? I just have regular ESO and was thinking of grabbing the Summerset upgrade since it's only $30 and includes Morriwind if you buy before June 15 or so. I just started a new character so might just move to a warden if it's decent.

I tried Summerset a bit tonight, it was running really poorly though so not sure if it's a network issue because it's new and a lot of people jumped back on or if they have something that need to be patched, it seemed like 20fps at best.

I was playing on X1 last night (not in summerset though) and at first it felt a bit laggy. It got better as time went on though. I was actually expecting to not be able to get on at all so I was pleasantly surprised.

Definitely a lot of people playing at least in the starter areas. Not sure if new people to the game or just new characters.

I wouldn't mind if the next single player ES game implemented some things from this game, the 3rd person view is much better in this than it is in the single player games, they still need to come up with a good camera angle when riding mounts though, you should be able to see more than the animals head and shoulders and the animation when riding the bear looks pretty bad lol.

Been messing around with this the last few days. Probably start over with a new character.

Been a long time since I last played but they have added a ton of stuff.

It's really annoying that you can't play with Xbox people on PC. Especially after Fortnite handling it so well.

I started over, Aldmeri Dominion this time. I think I'm hooked again.

I love the CGI shorts they do for this game, they need to just do an entire movie with this quality of visuals.

Can't wait for Elsweyr! Pre ordered it yesterday.

So I need to figure out how to lay this game. My inventory is 60/60, so I can't pick anything up without destroying something. I have a house, but nothing in it. Can I drop my inventory on the floor? And I got my ass handed to me, I could use some help!
