Some minor news...
If true, oh man, spill all of the beans you know and you better know a lot of beans.
It's everywhere now. From what I've seen his attorneys haven't yet filed the request to leave the case with the judge, so I don't want to be too premature, but he's being squeezed hard. Manafort's got to be getting squirmy, too - I'd imagine his bail will be revoked on Friday. The only thing is, with Gates in tow, I'm not even sure there's anything Manafort could have offered Mueller either way, even if Cohen's not flipping.
The bigger deal is that almost nothing that Cohen has had was covered by attorney-client privilege. Combine that with him recording phone calls and... well, even if he doesn't cooperate he's probably had enough of his information taken by the feds to unmask anything below-the-board that's occurred.
Mr. Cohen’s current legal team is expected to stay with him for the rest of the week as they struggle to complete a laborious review of a trove of documents and data files seized from him by the authorities two months ago. But after that review is finished, he will seek new legal counsel, the people familiar with his case said. The issue is primarily over payment of the legal bills of one of his lawyers, Stephen Ryan, according to a person familiar with the discussions. From what I've seen his attorneys haven't yet filed the request to leave the case with the judge, so I don't want to be too premature, but he's being squeezed hard. Robert Mueller files request for 150 blank subpoenas in Paul Manafort caseSpecial counsel Robert Mueller on Wednesday filed a request for 150 blank subpoenas in the Eastern District of Virginia, where former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort lives. The two-page filing reveals little, but says that that each subpoena recipient must appear in the Alexandria, Va., courthouse on July 25 to testify in the case.Judge T.S. Ellis III has now moved the trial date twice, first from July 10 to July 24, and then from that date to July 25.
The 150 blank subpoenas amount to 75 total possible subpoenas — in each case, a subpoena is needed for the witness and another is needed for the defense. Court documents filed in April show that Mueller's team was pushing to subpoena 35 witnesses in the trial. In May, court documents showed he had filed 70 blank subpoenas.A blank subpoena means the party serving the subpoena, in this case the federal government, can fill in the name later, as long as it is done so before the subpoena is served. The document says each recipient “must also bring with you the following documents, electronically stored information or objects” — but what follows that line is under seal.
One nation, under Trump.
“It’s Trump’s party now. If you criticize the president, you will face the wrath of the Trump voter,” said Republican strategist John Feehery, a former congressional aide.

It's imperative that democrats win everything they can November. They better be on point with a correct message. 'trump's party' is one of the worst sayings I've heard in years. It's vomit inducing. People should be ashamed at being completely shammed.
I'm completely at a loss at how to engage them. I've tried it all with people I know personally. The one thing I can't do is be empathetic towards them. I can't do that morally. I just can't. I've pointed out facts. Doesn't work. I've shown them how America is worse off. I've pointed out the lies. I've pointed out the underhandedness. None of it works. They are beyond help. They will never change.Yep, being loyal to a party to a fault is scary. Being loyal to one man is terrifying. This kind of mentality is just incompatible with democracy.

Pretty much. I come from a military family and I'm like the only non registered Republican, and everytime I speak out against them I get looks like I'm the problem. Everytime I bring up something like net neutrality or tariffs making our cost of goods go up they agree, but then I say something like, "well maybe you should do some more information on the other candidates before you vote" and it's always met with "I only vote Republican." or something along those lines. They don't even know what it means anymore because as others I"m sure have pointed out, they tend to only watch Faux News. They aren't aware of what they hold sacred. They used to be able to say "we care about fiscal responsibility" or "we care about small government" or whatever other stories they allowed themselves to be convinced of in order to justify that, in the end, they are intensely loyal to whatever they are told to be loyal to.
