[Marvel News]: Daredevil [Netflix]!

god I love how kingpin throws down. DD is all about flipping and fancy s*** kingpin is just a f***ing mad bull who will ran your ass over. I mean s***. I'm up to 10 will finish it this weekend. spoilers for 10.

Hells yeah! Kingpin is just a animal that gets more enraged the more he gets provoked. It's like lion vs. hippo, finesse and speed against brute strength and an impenetrable hide.

I never really knew much about Daredevil, but friends recently told me about this show and i decided to watch it. Boy what a surprise, cause i absolutely love it. Actually kinda surprised and shocked by how dark and violent this show is so far, i totally did not expect that from a Marvel show. Most of these Marvel films are quite....tame in that regard.

Thinking about watching the entire season again. Man, they're good. My wife just finished saw the whole thing and she loved it. It seems like a lot of people loved it so far. So that's good!! I hope Marvel feels good about that. :)

Ok finished it one thing that pissed me off so bad.
Why in the hell did they kill Ben? It did not change the story and his death really had no effect on anything. It's not often you see such strong black characters on TV shows and they killed so pointless like. Did the actor just not want to do a new season or something. What a bad thing to do.

It surprised me too. He's not the most well known character in Marvel, but he's pretty iconic in his own right. Felt odd that they killed him off this quickly.

hot damn renewed for a 2nd season.

Marvel Entertainment and Netflix have just announced that Daredevil will receive a second season and it will arrive in 2016!

Marvel has issued this press release:

With the first season of "Marvel's Daredevil" proving a smash success with both audiences and critics, Netflix and Marvel will continue to create further adventures of the Man Without Fear! Doug Petrie ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer," "American Horror Story") and Marco Ramirez ("Sons of Anarchy"), who worked closely with Executive Producers Steven S. DeKnight and Drew Goddard during the first season, will serve as showrunners for Season 2. Petrie, Ramirez, Goddard ("Cabin in the Woods"), and Jeph Loeb ("Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.") will serve as Executive Producers of Season 2.

Awesome news! I was gonna be pretty pissed if it didn't get a second season.

Great news. If the other three shows do well, it means we could potentially have a lot of Marvel TV over the next few years, and maybe even a second Defenders season. Also, Jessica Jones is either late 2015 or early 2016, and Luke Cake and I think Iron Fist are 2016 too. Potentially a series each for all four characters next year which would be pretty damn cool.

Im on about the 5-6 episode and sorry to detract but I think it sucks. acting is horrible. I feel like I am watching a high school drama. the only good actor saving this is D'Onofrio. But maybe its the script. It is a comic book after all so I should not hold this to any high regard. the action is good but this stuff is too predictable and the guy playing the Daredevil is not that likable.
But I defer to the Union and I will keep watching to see if I catch on.

Not every show is for everyone. Nothing wrong with that. I personally loved Daredevil, but I dislike Game of Thrones. Some people would call me mad for that.

I would say that if the show didn't click by episode 4 or 5, it is probably not for you. Episode 4, for me anyway, was when the show really clicked.

I would call you far worse :tounge:

And canned.

Haven’t watched 3rd season yet but did it end well ? Nothing more than I hate is a show ending with a cliffhanger that wink never be finished. Considering that season 1 was probably the first really outstanding show on Netflix in surprised it didn’t last longer.

Season 3 was some of the best tv Ive watched on Netflix it's such a shame.

You have to wonder if it cost too much to make. Seems to be the reason a lot of shows get cancelled now.

Sure it was popular but they probably figure they can cut costs and just hope most people stay subscribed.

It ended with cliffhanger.

Shame this got canned, it was a great show. Much better than boring Jessica Jones.

To add to the cancellation coming from marvel. S4 filming was scheduled for February

Well, looks like we may still get it...(hopefully still grounded, dark, gritty and witty)

Try to be surprised. Really, just try. But it’s not quite as simple as you might think, even if you were surprised.

In the endless hell year of 2018 the fact that Netflix turned to Thanos and asked him to watch in awe as it decimated its own Marvel roster feels like it was ancient history. The cancellation of Iron Fist, Luke Cage, and then Daredevil seemingly out of nowhere left fans not only asking why, but also assuming that these shows—and presumably Jessica Jonesand The Punisher, whenever those eventually join their comrades in the cancelled pile—were being primed for a splashy return on Disney’s own upcoming streaming service, Disney+.

I'll be glad if they come back but i think Disney+ is supposed to be PG13 so i don't know if they'll be the same. Especially The Punisher. Hopefully Disney will allow the service to have a more mature section.
