Alexa is far superior. There's no comparison. This is coming from someone who has a 5k iMac, iPhone XS Max, Apple Watch 4, Macbook Pro Retina, Apple TV.Anyone here setup any home automation with Apple HomeKit? I’ve been looking into as something so start in the new year, just as hobby rather than a necessity.

I bought a Sonos One. Alexa is faster, can answer a far wider range of questions, those to difference are monumental compared to Siri, much larger product compatibility (lights, thermostats, etc.).I don’t have any Google tech. Does Alexa integrate with Mac? What’s so superior about Alexa? The devices, the features, UX, or what?

Siri is always listening as well.Isn’t Alexa “always listening and recording”? And it hasn’t been said on how long does it keep said recordings.... *puts on tin boat hat, backwards*
Alexa/Siri both have that.I’m not so worried about voice control. More device automation is what I’m looking at. Door/window sensors, camera, music, heating etc.

I've researched for a while, but there's nothing in my home to automate other than "Alexa, play Summer playlist on 'Kitchen Sonos'." My buddy uses it to control his Xbox One X.Have you set any of it up? For either one?
