Swede seeing Tallest Man On Earth tonight! Are y'all of you this good looking?
Most younglings are, when we get over 30 it's downhill for many I'm afraid. But more and more understand the value of fitness, so I guess it'll change. I'm still fairly good looking but I take care of myself, would prob look like s*** otherwise.

How was it? When he was on tour for his last album I was thinking of going but never did. Also, I'm terrible at keeping up with music so I'm just seeing he has a new album out so I'll have to check it out. Also seeing he was just in Madison last weekend fffuuuu. Had a soccer game that same night though anyways. Maybe when he's in Chicago this fall...

It really was an amazing show. If you ever get the chance scoop those tickets asap. Will definitely be going again, my girlfriend and I had the best time.

I dont know if this should go in this thread or Hedon's ADHD thread. But has a friend ever let you see or borrow their phone and they have like 2,000 unread emails....ahhhhhh. I just want to go into their setting and clear that s***.

Not that exactly, but I regretably showed my parents how to use browser tabs. This turned into a situation where they no longer bother to use their bookmarks, they just leave their same 20 tabs open all the time.

Then my mom complains her computer runs slow. I just point out again maybe some of these unused tabs could be closed, but they keep doing it.

My mom had no less than 57 Safari taps open... mobile Safari!

I don't have any friends, so...no.

When I shower a usually put the toilet seat cover down, I dono why (maybe a childhood fear of a reptile crawling up and out whilst I shower). So there was this one time someone ran in and yelled “why the f*** is the toilet seat down!” I died

I always put the cover down. Gotta minimize spray of contaminants throughout the room.

I hate hatchbacks. I don't actually need any room. We have a van to haul our dogs around (2 large greyhounds, no kids) :)

I just need something to get me to and from work.

I'm trying the e-mail negotiations now. Seems to work pretty well. I'm doing what every girl did to me in high school, show the tiniest bit of interest and then ignore me. :hehe:

Have you looked at a Hyundai Elantra Sport?? They’re quite nice, inside and out as well as the ride. Not the fastest thing around but for all the bells and whistles it’s a really good value. I’ve rented both an SE and the sport, the Sport just rode so much better as a daily then then the other trim...it also come with a manual, gawd why don’t rental places have manuals!?!!?!

Thanks, I actually thought the Elantra was the higher end model, but they actually look almost the same. Not sure what the difference is.

I start test driving tomorrow so that should be fun. I let all the dealers sit in silence for a couple of weeks. :)

Yes, I do this too. It's because at times, I've lived in apartments where the toilet is close enough to the shower to get sprayed with water. This makes the seat wet, and if sitting on the seat later taking a s***, it's harder to spread cause your cheeks will glide together and that'll make you get s***ty cheeks (as mentioned earlier).

Car shopping update - why does every model have to have 7 different variations that have one tiny feature difference but cost $2000 more?

So annoying. I drove a Civic and it seems like the no-brainer choice, but to get Sirius in there it is a much higher end model. The Chevy Cruze is actually surprisingly nice, but more than the Civic  (but it does have Sirius)

Plus, what is it with Americans and SUVs? I go in and say I want to buy a sedan. "Oh, you want to lease an SUV?". No, finance a sedan. "Oh, you mean lease an SUV?" :smash:

Forget Sirius, dono what phone you have but just get the car with either Apple Carplay or Android Auto. Listen to your jams and use google maps or Waze to get you your way.

Get what makes ya smile, the world is on a downward spiral of CUVs and SUVs that a large percentage can’t afford and were just nearing summer, where gas prices will rise and people will be “I done f’d up, why’d I buy this” as the jump into their seat.

Those Jeep Gladiator leases though, they intrigue/tempt me >,<‘

*edit note

Yee, the Cruze is surprisingly quite nice, I’m sure if you look around that you’ll find what you want at a much more reasonable price, they are discontinuing them...

Kerosene31 I quit Sirious XM, but when I did try it for my job I found the mobile app more reliable than the satellite antenna reception. If the car has Blutooth just do that and don't worry about the satellite signal and get it on your phone.

I just quit it because I get sick of the same commercials playing over and over again on their talk radio stations. I rely more on Pandora now.

Yeah that's what most of them mentioned, just stream from the phone. I'm listen to a lot of Howard Stern and other interview stuff so it would actually be easier to just always pick up from where I left off on the app.

Also, some content on the App is available On-Demand so you might be able to listen to interviews at your convenience instead of on their schedule.

I sort of relate though, when I get tired of listening to music I put on Joe Rogan or other random interviews. Sometimes I play debates.

Dont you hate it when you're at the grocery store and all you want to do is buy bread, but there's some lady hogging the whole area and going over the bread packaging like it's a life altering decision whether she should buy it or not?

When first living on my own i would like to stock up and overfill my cart with whatever I wanted/needed. One day I went to a grocery store that I hadn’t been to in ages, I saw these massive lines, but at the far end there was one with a handful of people. I ran to it and quickly started to load the lil conveyor and the guy behind the counter gives me a funny look and I hear laughing in the distance, I glance back, look at my stuff and just decided to look up and notice said line was now the 15 and under express. I went red but continued my transaction in shame...

Don't get a pos Chevrolet these days. My last 3 vehicles have been Chevys and they get worse and worse each year in reliability. If you insist on getting one, make sure to get rid of it within 5 years or you'll be working on the pos constantly or having to get recall work done. I can't stress enough to save yourself a lot of hassle and avoid them.
