Moxley.

Having Ross will really help them get talent over with new fans. The guy still has the passion for the sport and won't have to plug social media every minute and will be allowed to call the matches.

Watched highlights and the crowd are very NXT in both good and bad ways.

Still if it becomes an actual challenge one day it's good as everyone needs competition.

That was better than any acting he did in wwe IMO.

WWE is in trouble already with bad story lines, ratings and a shrinking viewership that is hitting record lows.

AEW has the potential to hurt them badly which is good for wrestling fans as it should cause them to step it up which could result in better than "Super man punch, super man punch, super man punch again"zzzzzz types of talents getting the biggest pushes and more talented ones instead.

i watched AEW DoN, didnt know a single wrestler expect for the ones that were at WWE and i gotta say that was some incredible stuff, will give them another shot. eventhough there was too many tag matches they were all incredible tbh (especially young bucks one... just wow)

i am interested to see how unique they make these matches as time goes on, these high flyers are amazing first time but then if they just do the same spot over and over it wont last.

Always thought Dean's strength was his promos. They completely botched his heel turn, which was an awesome turn regardless of what happened afterwards. It's amazing how stupid his schtick was and that was probably the last straw for him and deciding not to renew his contract.

As for WWE. I really haven't been watching RAW or Smackown lately, just been reading recaps the next day. Find myself enjoying the product a lot more when I just watch the PPV's. The video packages they do for their matches are more than enough to understand their stories.

Yeah I only really watch the PPVs now but they need to go back to being less than 3hrs and WM back to around 4

I usually come back around WM time and stay for a few month, but after MitB, I'm just done. There are too many other options available to me. Backlog library is nice, but the main draw is new stuff for me, and WWE just isn't worth the price of admission for my money.

Highlights from the Talk Is Jericho Podcast with Jon Moxley:

  • He knew he wanted to leave the company in July 2018 when he was out with an injury
  • Refused to read a scripted promo because he believed it was idiotic/ridiculous whilst Vince believed it was great
  • Talks about the promos he read whilst feuding with Seth late last/early this year, and how they made no sense, tried to rewrite them and got frustrated when he couldn't
  • He talked about enjoying the Make-A-Wish stuff and how he became an adult in WWE
  • Says he thought him cutting the promo talking about Romans cancer was distasteful
  • Says he felt like walking out on the Raw where he got shots/vaccinated during a promo, and that was the day he 100% knew he was leaving and not coming back
  • Vince tried to talk him into saying another cancer remark about Roman, says it was so bad they could have lost sponsors, refused to say it (34 minutes into the podcast)
  • Says he was excited to return to wrestling when he was injured, but not excited to return to WWE
  • Says if there was no other promotion other than WWE, he still would have left
  • Vince "didn't know" he was unhappy, even with Jon/dean being open with his frustrations to Vince about scripts
  • Was happy to take bumps from Nia, but felt like it was them punishing him for leaving
  • They offered him a new contract, he didnt look at it
  • His goal in AEW is to be the best version of himself, looking forward to creative freedom
  • Says Tony Kahn is the exact opposite of Vince, likes him and the fact hes a huge wrestling fan
  • Talks about using social media now that hes out of WWE
  • He told Seth hes a wild animal thats been domesticated for too long when Seth was upset about him leaving (to clarify, he was referring to himself as the wild animal, not Seth) he explained it to Seth as it being the end of Harry and the Hendersons where Harry is set free

Jesus Vince

If you found that meh you need to stop watching wrestling.

But then maybe it's more because this is AEW's competition at this time?

Vince needs to retire or stick to the business stuff and leave the creative alone.

He won't retire. If anything the XFL needs to take off and take all of Vince's attention.

Hunter needs to take over. Even Moxley has had nothing but praise for him

No I watch wrestling.
Every match had a predictable finish and was that supposed to be a nxt world championship match? Cause it sure looked like a North American midcard title match.

It is more AEW's competition because it's still far better than raw and sd but pales in comparison to what AEW did in it's 1st PPV.

I know and that's the sad part, I'm guessing he's hoping the Trump supporters who are mad at the NFL will watch his XFL, I really don't see a market for that though.

Bray was fine how he was, they just needed to let him win against people other than Ambrose.

Didn't watch the match, but apparently Moxley vs Robinson for the NJPW US Championship was really good. Caught the end (in spoilers)

Moxley wins after two Dirty Deeds, one of which looked much more brutal than a regular one. Also he wears short trunks like Matt Riddle
