Yeah I think I'm definitely moving, especially if I can move back to PS4 (assuming I buy Shadowkeep on both platforms). I worry about PVP against mouse and keyboard, but I play mostly PVE anyway.

What sucks is I think we have to buy Forsaken and the last annual pass for $40 plus Shadowkeep. For all the hours I put into the game though it is worth it.

One nice thing is everything gets bumped up to 750 power on Oct 1 so time to get those alternate characters up!

I am critical of Destiny a lot but the game is a lot of fun right now. My only worry is they are getting rid of the power cap for Shadowkeep, so are like Youtubers going to be like level 2000 at some point while we're like 800-something? I assume it just won't matter all that much but it feels weird to have people that scattered.

I took the plunge on PC. Bought the Forsaken pack and transferred my account over to PC and it works great!

Now I'm master race

We can transfer from ps4 and play on PC now?

Yep! I tested it out and it worked great. The only problem would be if you already had characters on 2 platforms, I guess there's no "merge". All my characters were on PS4 so I set that as my "main" characters and now those are on PC (and presumably Xbox if I ever got the game there).

I tested it out and it works great. Only thing that doesn't come over is existing silver balance (but I'm guessing I can spend it on PS4 and have the item anywhere). I played my character on PC and got some gear, went back to PS4 and that new gear was there too.

I should be able to play PVE on PC but go back to PS4 and play the same character in PVP using controller.

There's a lengthy thread on reddit which has some great info.

Just booted it up on PC for the first time.

It's a different game. Playing at over 100 frames is pure Bliss. Love that they added cross save.

Hand cannons are amazing! I unlocked all the exotic hand cannons on PS4 and instantly just put them in the vault. OMG on PC you can actually manage the recoil. Be sure and break out the Last Word, Thorn and/or Ace of Spades if you have them.

I must admit the game is just totally different on PC. I jumped in with some randoms doing Escalation Protocol which normally turns into a slideshow when a bunch of enemies are on screen but now it is smooth as silk.

I don't want to turn this into platform war, and I still love my console for many games. Destiny though is great on PC. Destiny already has some of the best gunplay on console, but on PC it is even more fun.

There is no recoil on pc using mouse\keyboard that why hand cannons and submachine guns rule on that platform. I played my PS4 main character on PC last night but I don't have forsaken dlc on pc. Only problem with pc is that it is a ghost town. Patrols area have very few players or almost no one around. On PS4 it is not an issue. I don't know about Xbox though.

Yep, even with an SSD on a PS4 Pro, my PC without an SSD (it is a slightly older rig) is way faster. Be sure to turn off film grain and motion blur too. It gets rid of that weird fuzziness.

Started a Hunter build last week and going through all the base game and the expansions again. It’s been fun.

After playing PC for a few days I booted up the PS4 to play some crucible and it was jarring. 30 fps felt like a slideshow. I eventually got used to it again but the initial shock almost made me feel a little dizzy.

I'm a Titan main, but trying to get my Warlock and Hunter up to level 50 and everything unlocked.

I guess everything you own jumps to 750 power on day 1 for Shadowkeep, so it is a great time to get alt characters up to par.

Crucible on the PC is a humbling experience. People are so good. I can hold my own but it's a struggle right now especially against full fireteams.

I've been afraid to try it to be honest. I did a strike once and the 2 other players were popping off headshots so quickly. I was barely keeping up.

I'm hoping the ranked solo queue will offer some hope. Playing solo against fireteams is pretty tough. A little coordination goes a long way in this game. Control the heavy ammo and chain your supers in a row. There's not a lot to counter that. Even on console I had problems.

Shadowkeep should attract some more casual players too. The free game should bring in more noobs. Right now there's mostly just the hardcore crowd so everyone's really good.

PVP is still my one major problem with the game. The system is set up to stomp on solo players. The best guns are only attainable by higher rank players, which just separates the best from the rest even more.

I still may just stick to PS4 for PVP and do PVE on PC. I'm just so used to playing Destiny on a controller that I have so much muscle memory built up.

It's rough but I feel like I can be pretty good at it with a little practice. As far as the weapons go, if you have Ace of Spades, The Last Word, Thorn, or a good pulse rifle you are good to go.

With the community event on Mars a lot of people are running EP. I found it's a good way to get used to the M/K controls.

Yeah I've spent most of my time just doing routine PVE stuff. Finishing up some old quests and just farming for materials in Shadowkeep.

Hopefully by the time Shadowkeep comes around I'll at least be ok. It isn't even like I'm new to mouse and keyboard, it just throws me off worse in Destiny for some reason. I've been struggling to find the right sensitivity too.

I am enjoying it overall. It is nice to not get the dreaded screen shake and unstable framerate anytime the action gets busy on screen.

For anyone still on the fence, they are selling Forsaken + the old annual pass for $24.99 US now

Sidenote but almost everyone I know that plays D2 has multiple characters. I kind of feel like an anomaly because I have only ever played one character (Warlock).

I never find time for more than one character either. It just takes too much time to grind things out. I think Shadowkeep is going to be worse too as we're going to be constantly grinding up an artifact. I've been working on an alt who's like 730 but has no gear and is basically worthless.

Destiny already takes up way too much of my gaming time. I love the game but I can't play it like some people do. I need to mix in other games too. There's people that raid every weeknight with different characters to keep them up... I wish I had time for that.

Microsoft and Bungie team up for new Xbox One X custom console give away:

Been trying to catch up on some exotics I don't have. Got Izanagi's Burden last night, hopefully I can find a team to get Outbreak Perfected before Shadowkeep.

Finally got Jotun to drop also, thing is a beast.

I need Outbreak Perfected too. I got the quest this week and just need to finish up a few lost sectors then will be ready for the main mission. I'd definitely run it with you maybe over the weekend. I think I'm just kerosene31 on bnet.

Cool, I'll add you. My brother needs it also so we can get a full fireteam.

I think I need the numbers after your name to add you, like#1642 etc.

Got it. I'm Kerosene31#1269

I just finished the other steps of the quest so I should be good to go. Weeknights are a little tight for me, but weekends are usually mostly open. I guess it is only 20 minutes though so I can probably squeeze it in. I'm a 750 Titan.
