Fight? Just hand it to me now.The game also supports up to 10player local host Versus, with bots if you want..... the fight for the prize might be making a come back after these years!

Yeah, it looks great, especially given it's running 60 fps with as much going on as it is. There is a lot of dense detail too, but the stylistic look keeps it from being over that edge. Still, it's been pretty epic so far, and I feel like I'm still in the beginning.Played a couple of hours and so far it's Gears lol thankfully you can turn off the camera shake during the roadie run so that's a big plus. I don't get the best looking game of all time talk, it looks very good but I can think of several games that look better.
Graphical tour de force on the XB1X as well as the Standard S.
DF going crazy over the visuals.
I would have liked them to go for 30fps and bump up the particles and effects more, it looks strange when they are sliding across the sand and nothing is getting kicked up, it makes it look very sterile. This is the best looking console game to target 60fps I'll give it that (on the One X) but as far as best looking overall no way.
From what I can see it sounds like it was a trade off.
1. Bump up the framerate and maybe sacrifice some visual quality in terms of added affects/animation.
2. Drop the framerate and increase fidelity across the board.
I honestly think they made the right call (as does the DF review) . 60fps IMHO makes the visuals that much more better. 30fps no mater the detail in a game CAN make that game look less visually appealing IMHO. The fluidity of 60fps combine with a already fantastic detailed world does edge a game up overall for me. However this is also the PC gamer in me speaking where such sacrifices rarely need to be made.
They INCREASED the visual quality over Gears 4) AND Doubled the framerate. That's pretty amazing, honestly. Gears 4 on X had to run 1080p in order to do 60fps on the campaign. They even upped the DoF quality past 4's PC Ultra, and the Motion blur. Also increased the Poly count on the characters? Good Stuff.

I know.
I'm just saying that if they had targeted 30fps from the get go they probably would've been able to squeeze in a bit more. That's all. Not saying for sure as I'm not creating with the Unreal Engine, but the additional CPU overhead could've been directed someplace else.
Again, I think the game stands toe to toe with the best this gen has to offer in terms of visuals. The 60FPS (mostly) lock is icing on the cake.
I wanna see the visual comparison to the PC version. As having the game at all Ultra settings at 1080p (with ultra textures installed) on my PC with a heavily OC'd and custom water cooled GTX 1070 the game managed about 67 FPS average in the benchmark and definitely dipped below 60fps several times. I do know that the PC version HEAVILY favors AMD graphics cards.
You jerk I just wanna download the damn game!Working for me... 乁〳 ❛ д ❛ 〵ㄏ
