No mp, great, strange to get mad about that imo. You're definitely playing it wrong if mp is a priority in this series.
Its not wrong if you like it.

That's a quote I'm regularly use, but... is it not wrong to shove living rabbits up your anus, even if you like it?Its not wrong if you like it.

I don't have time for trash games like crackdown, days gone and am very anti $65 10-20 hour single player only games like tlou/2.
Yes I find Gears 5 and Forza Horizon 4 better than those games and most of Sony's offerings this gen with Bloodborne being the exception as those games offer more which makes them a better value.
I have all of the above mentioned games so not sure what you are getting at?

This guy....I didn't care for bloodborne personally, got bored with it fast just like I did with the last guardian and shadow of the colossus but I guess I always like Sony stuff so that must be impossible right? You just called TLOU2 a 10-20 hour game, the press played roughly 3 hours of it and that was just a small sliver according to the devs, word going around is it' a 40+ hour campaign and ND has said it's the longest one they've ever done. Again you say things without any proof just to back up your argument and it makes it hard to take it seriously.
Anytime you have a disagreement with someone you fall back on reviews immediately, I've even seen you make the argument that Sony's games review better than MS games when debating other people, over the last year I guess the lack of MP has really gotten to you and that's fine, if you are a MP focused gamer that's totally understandable but you absolutely do trash games you don't play. You were in the Days Gone thread many times talking about how you weren't interested in it etc so to pretend you weren't doing that now is laughable.
You don't know what I was getting at? I will say it again, you DO trash games you've never played, I've called you out on it before and you say you don't need to play them to have a true opinion on them.
Strange to get mad about it.It's not strange if the 1st has it and you enjoyed it.

No, but the added value and replay-ability with MP in the game is far greater than if it wasn't there.
Yes it is.That's not replay-ability though it's a different mode, I get what you are saying as far as value and if this were a typical 6-8 hour campaign I would agree but this is supposed to be a 40+ hour game so it's hard to argue that their isn't enough value for the full purchase price already. How many games with no MP mode need 2 discs? there is already a ton of content in the package.
Yes it is.
How you going to tell people what keeps them playing longer?
When I really like a game I want a reason to stay in it's universe....beating a game 2 or even 3 times doesn't scratch that itch.I used to call it that too but I don't anymore because it doesn't really make sense. They are two different modes, MP may add more value to you and that's a legitimate point of view but you can replay a game without multiplayer I do it all the time, don't you watch movies you own more than once? it's the same concept, if you like it and you want to do it again you will. Going in and playing MP is a separate experience so it doesn't really make much sense to call that replaying IMO, I'm not saying he's not entitled to his point of view I just don't think adding MP adds to it's replay potential because you aren't playing the same thing.
BTW when did you buy Days Gone? you made a point to go into that thread before it launched to talk about how you had no interest in it and wanted World War Z and now you say you own it. Why would you buy a game you had no interest in?

MP keeps me in that universe for a long time if the MP is deep enough.
On point TLOU had MP and had a decent enough MP to satisfy.
Playing SP only gets old much faster after beating the game.
I got my son Days Gone(digital) after repeated warnings of how bad it was.
Oh and I don't own that other POS crackdown 3 either I somehow missed it in the list of games that I said I owned.
My hype went wayyy down when I read about the realistic dog murdering that’s in the game

Yeah they said you can go through the whole area without killing them, I am sure that's pretty tough to do though.I believe they’ve said you can totally avoid them or go to those lengths
Yes, it's horrible killing dogs that wants to eat your face. Sneaking up and slitting throats of humans in realistic manners, watching them holding their necks while blood is pouring out and seeing them stop moving though, that's definitely what'll keep me calm while thinking of them poor canines. My hype went wayyy down when I read about the realistic dog murdering that’s in the game

That's the conflict I always have in games where I have to kill animals, I don't mind killing fake people because you can make a case that they deserved it in a game. Animals are just living their lives so I hate killing them but I do it anyway lol. It's one thing I hated about RDR2 and most of Ubisoft games in the last few years, you almost always have to kill and skin animals and the better the graphics are getting and the more realistic the animations and sounds are becoming it can hit me a bit but then I go and make myself a nice juicy steak and feel better lol.
This was a kill I had in RDR2 and I did actually feel a little guilt at the time lol.
I'm a carnivore too, just embrace it imo
They will most definitely kill Joel, it's the most obvious plot point, although I thought they'd do it in the first.Oh I have, as long as I don't have to kill it to eat it I'm fine but I'm a big softie on the inside, I love animals and the last thing I want to hear or see is an animal suffering. I know it's only in a game but if they do a really good job of making it realistic it does make me cringe. They said in TLOU2 if you kill the human the dog will even whimper and paw it's owner to see if he/she is ok, they are really trying to get people to feel every kill I think.

I can see it, Joel got s*** for what he did not letting her make the choice so she refuses to forgive him when she found out. He'll sacrifice himself for her in the end and she'll cry and all of us playing too.
The dogs won't cry though, they are cold like that.
