Where did you read that at?I read it was a GAAS title, I hope that's not true because I liked the look of it but if it's another online service based game forget it.

Everwild
will give you memorable, engaging, and meaningful experiences for players everywhere to share
Verge is one of the sites reporting that it is NOT a fully GAAS game like Sea of Thieves.Or just you know have multiplayer
Yes and no. I've played the game by myself most of the time and I have been able to do things without any issues for like an hour. Then you start running into people who are on those big ships who like nothing better than to blow your skooner sky high out of the water after they steal your booty. It's frustrating but oh well. Oh and you get the more than occasional encounters with the weaken, megaton, and ghost ship.I haven't tried Sea of Thieves yet but have thought about it. My biggest issue as someone who just wants to chill 95% when gaming these days, is that it's an open world f fest for gankers. Is there anyway to play passive in that and just enjoy the raids or whatever quests they have?

Tom Warren has the inside scoop at MS.
“Rare’s previous Xbox One and Windows 10 exclusive, Sea of Thieves, launched last yearand the team will continue to work on it and provide updates. It’s fair to say it wasn’t a smash hit, but it also wasn’t a flop either. Sea of Thieves now has a dedicated community of players, but Rare is clearly keen to try something new with Everwild that’s not necessarily as service-driven as Sea of Thieves.”
I am glad it is sounding like less and less of a service game, which is pretty fortunate.Sounds like it is a service game. Unfortunate.
We need GAME PLAY!!!!!Looks pretty. Apart from that there is nothing to get excited about. Unless pettin a demented deer is your dream gameplay scenario.

I guess if any game that has co-op or multiplayer is a service game, then yes. Halo 2 is one of my favorite service games.Well as long as you agree that it is a service game
Nothing official yet. I’m asking around to figure this out.So we know it's a service game?
So we know it's a service game?
So we don't know but going ahead and throw it out there that it is based on Microsoft's recent history. We have know idea but Tom Warren says it is and Kvally says we should trust him so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
