12TF gpu with a zen2 is no joke at all, especially considering how devs are able to optimize with fixed specs. I'm actually impressed by this.

I expect Hellblade to be just as linear as the first. I loved Hellblade so I'm ok with that likelihood.
Same here. However, I saw at Resetera that it's apparently more open world. No idea how people get this info.

Xbox Series X can pause and resume multiple games simultaneously
Matt Brown13 Dec 2019

What you need to know
  • Microsoft has unveiled Xbox Series X, its upcoming next-generation Xbox console slated for holiday 2020.
  • Xbox Series X will expand the console's instant-on capabilities, including the option to pause and resume multiple games in system memory simultaneously.
Microsoft has dropped its first look at its next-generation Xbox plans, unveiling the flagship Xbox Series X. The Xbox One successor sets out to compile cutting-edge hardware into a streamlined home console, promising four times the processing capabilities of Xbox One X. That helps power a 4K 60 FPS baseline across titles, with support up to 8K resolutions and 120 Hz. It marks the latest milestone in the Xbox console family, currently slated for a holiday 2020 debut.
Partner Director of Program Management for Team Xbox, Jason Ronald, discussed Redmond's new approach to the next-generation platform, highlighting an effort to remove barriers across the ecosystem.
One crucial component is a switch to an NVMe solid-state drive (SSD) for Xbox Series X, paired with GDDR6 memory, helping cut loading times, and streamlining the end-user experience. Ronald also details improvements headed to the console's standby feature, allowing players to pause and resume multiple games on the fly.

"Today, we have the capability of instantly resuming the last game that you were playing," Ronald told GameSpot. "Why can't you do that for multiple games? Many players choose to play multiple games at the same time, being able to instantly jump right back where I was, those are things that we can do with the platform level to make the gaming experience better. It's really about ensuring there's less waiting and more time playing because that's ultimately what we all want to do with a with the consoles and with the services that we have."

The Xbox One launched with "Instant On" capabilities, including an ability to stow games into memory, and immediately boot into past sessions upon turning on the console. That further streamlined the "pick up and play" nature, but was limited to just one title per console. Ronald suggests the Xbox Series X will support multiple titles, streamlining the ability to jump between your favorite titles.
The Xbox Series X is scheduled to launch holiday 2020, with pricing a firm release date yet to be confirmed.

I don't think that cracker box shaped device would even fit inside of my entertainment center horizontally. I sorta like the look of it, but my shelves barely fit the height of my receiver.

12 TF of NAVI GPU which makes this uncomparable to the 12 TF Vega 64. This thing is gonna be a monster. Not to mention all Xbox One accessories compatible and 4 gens of BC?!?!?!

I think that's really an understated achievement. No need to buy new controllers, headsets etc because your xbox one stuff still works. Major props to them for that. Means alot of players that upgrade won't be left behind, especially those that use the adaptive controller. Plus full on BC for Xbox one games means my backlog can come with me to the next gen!

Based off of the pics shown in relation to the controller, people are saying it looks to be about 6x6x12....? I thought it looked a little bigger than that.

It really is. I have about 10 Xbox One controllers including the Elite Series 2 and I am glad I can use them all on the next console.

Definitely need to go back and black Hellblade again. First time was on Steam so with it being on Game Pass I can get those sweet achievements.

I have one achievement left. Getting all the Lore Stones.
lol I think that is the one achievement I never got on Steam. Well since I've already played it there's no shame in using a walk through a second time through...
