Tom Steyer commercials have been airing here in California for awhile.

This one in particular.

I'm still behind Warren + anyone a little more in the center.

I like Warren because I think she's left enough to keep the further left engaged and hopefully still not scare away the middle and indies. It is hard to tell how everyday people see Warren though.

Just more wisdom that Labour never learned from the US; no matter how obnoxious an oaf your opponent is, if you run a terrible candidate that even members of your own party despise, it's not going to go over well.
I see, it was almost a joke on what is happening to them. What makes it crazy is that even though they knew it time to make that change and no one didnt even move.

I like Yang, but I don't thing he would beat Trump.

I would like to see Sanders/Yang or Warren/Yang. Let Yang get the experience and some clout behind his name with older voters - get him ready to take over in a future election.

Booker needs to stop crying about representation, he's tied with Buttigieg among black voters at 2%

My only issue with Yang as VP is he is someone who's running on UBI as his main issue, nobody else is touching that and being a VP wouldn't help get that implemented.

She can, if she doesn't run on Medicare for All, and it seems like she's moving away from that to a more "Medicare for who wants it," for a few years.

She needs to get away from the woke stuff a bit too, she has her pronouns in her twitter bio for crying out loud.

I dunno, aside from policy he seems more connected to technology and the advance of automation than any other candidate.

Strangely, his warning about automation seem to becoming closer to reality throughout the year; we just had that Robot truck deliver from California to Pennsylvania. Now VP might not necessarily need to be the role he should play, but I hope he gets a cabinet position at the very least.

It would be interesting to see Yang debate Pence though.

I don't like Sanders combined with Warren because they are both old. Biden or Sanders need to pick at least somewhat young.

UBI would just be the socialism boogie man that the right misinformation machine would love.

I would worry about anyone left of Warren having a shot. Even Warren would need to be really careful with wording to not scare away the centrist type Democrats.

If he makes the case well enough it shouldn't be, nobody can live off of $1K a month in any blue state but it'll go a lot further in most red states. He's kind of a hard candidate to put into a box, he's a progressive libertarian in a lot of ways. I know it won't work this way but there are several red states that are at least $12k below the national average on annual household income, imagine getting the message through to people in Alabama, Louisiana, Arkansas and Mississippi that every adult in their home will bring in an additional $12K a year, it's game changing for people in most states but especially in the poorer ones. I t could also help people get off of welfare, they could actually take a job that doesn't pay much because the additional thousand a month more than makes up the difference.

People have been voting against their interests in red states for years now.

These people are for tax credits for private planes but question how we're going to pay for healthcare.

Don't underestimate how twisted up the alt right misinformation machine has people. These are people who simply won't believe that government will work for them because that's all they've known.

True but Yang has broken through with a lot of libertarians, maybe they can get the conversation going in those areas? I know it's all pie in the sky but it's still something I wish for lol.
