I just skip through her sections as fast as I can. I get that they are part of the AC lore but I'd be 100% fine with just getting rid of them completely or just having some kind of opening scene with them and then one at the end and that's it. Desmond was the only one that was even half interesting and he's been gone for a while now.

Then just get rid of them. Focus on the main part of the game and stop breaking the game world up
Sure, but not playing the game because of 3 x 15 min of gameplay in a game of 40+ hours seems a bit harsh lol
Origins and Odyssey had very little and easy gameplay, not like the extremely obtuse first person gameplay from Black Flag and Rogue or even Desmond which was much, much more often and much longer than what's been in the last two games.

Actually, I have no issue with having a female Viking, as long as male one is an option for people who want a little more authenticity. It's a single-player game, let people picked what they want, as long as they keep it to your character, not NPCs which should stay authentic. If there are Arab or Asian, at least have reasons they were there, I am fine as well.

They could have a Korean k-pop girl band member or RInhanna lookalike as an option, I wouldn't mind either, as long as they are optional. Damn, should I picked K-pop wannabe or Rihanna?

Most people are 100% fine with options, there are people on both sides though who think options are terrible. The feminist type want everyone to have to play as a female because they think it's not enough that they have the option, everyone should be forced to because somehow we'd understand the female experience or some BS like that. I think the people on the other side for the most part probably really don't care and are just reacting to the feminists. Options should be applauded IMO.

I thought this takes place in 900 A.D. I'm assuming they mean ancient roman ruins before then at 400-500 years?

I hope we get a good chunk of Norway to wander around in, it kinda seems a little downplayed to England but it could just be they don't want to reveal too much right now.

Shameful admission, I bought the $100 edition of Odyssey... I hope they don’t tempt me with that again lol.

They've made some nice art/wallpapers for this game.

From a writing/ story standpoint the options are bad. It is why RPGs don't tell a personal ,character building story on you, and is more focused on small NPC stories and world stories.

I thought they implemented the options well in Odyssey, but I’m also super bias toward that game lol
