Call of Duty: Modern Warfare/Warzone - shutting down September

Game connection went to sh1t last night after you left. Lag outs during the match on every other game. Hopefully its all in good order for tonight.
Is weird how you have several hours of fine and then it changes in an instant.

Pretty much. With how this game map is pieced together it will like change when the nedxt COD releases and they add areas/maps from the new game and replace the areas we have.

For example: They could replace quarry with the upcoming Hardhat map.
 
So you are saying the lack of player per lobby is a lag issue, not concurrent playerbase issue?

Yes. the game has been suffering from various issues these last few days. Lag outs, in-game lag, game doesn't start even when lobby is 150, games starting with fewer players etc.

Yeah, its doubtful you'll see a new map. The current warzone map is the all the MP and Spec Ops maps sown together. It's a great idea actually and well presented. As Menace said its possible they might stitch in a new area when some new MP maps are released. They might also make some environment changes like unfreezing the river, etc.

It is only a great idea if it changes regular enough. My hope is that by this time next year atleast half the map is very different.

I just get massive lag now. Game is unplayable for me. Movement gets really clunky, but yet I managed to get the final kill cam for a player not moving. Half the server I can't kill, and the other half can't kill me.
 
A big 30GB update is available now for download.
Some things from the patch...

-RPG nerf - reduced kill radius for max armour. (The Warzone RPG meta is staying, it seems)
- Added Armour box to Warzone loot/buy stations - instantly restocks all teams armour.
- Gulag will now offer ARs and SMGs.
- Hardhat map.

Like all those changes. So the RPG nerf is basically only if you have max armour applied?

The first 2 are garbage.

The RPG nerf changes nothing in the big picture. Solos will benefit most. And yes, to answer your question.

The armour box is just dumb. Now, in late game, you'll have teams who all have one giving them ridiculous armour amounts. Have fun trying to chew through 700 armour per person. Plus it promotes more camping in solos.

Dunno... I like the idea of armour box. Let's see how it plays out.
 
I had to actually start the game to get it to update on Xbox. I went into the usual check everything for updates section but nothing was there. Fired up the game and "oh, you need an update!".
 
Call of Bandwidth :) It has been a long time where it took me almost a day to download a patch.

I can't wait to try Hardhat. That map was the only good thing I remember from MW3. Hopefully it is as good as I remember - a good run and gun map that isn't too small.
