Note sure I'm a fan of a revive mechanic in regular multiplayer.
Also unless there's an outfit with a pastel colored t-shirt and a sport coat with the sleeves rolled up, it will be unplayable.
All the streamers have their opinions up.
Cross play still a thing (no idea if you can turn it off). It was a limited engagement so no idea on SBMM (but rumors say it will be there and assuming crossplay is on I would say it will be).
Possibly no scope glint? That's a big deal if accurate.
He says if feels more old school and kind of scaled back, which could be good or bad depending on how you look at it.
I'm underwhelmed so far to be honest. If this is going to have the same frustrating SBMM system in it and the same crossplay I'm probably skipping.
Old school feel? Day one. Modern Warfare was awful.
Official Multiplayer Trailer:
I am not a fan of the tight maps like shipment, but I am also not a fan of open maps either. They always make the best trailers and commercials. Having said that, REALLY hating the wide open maps.
All maps should have at a choke point and an area where teams battle to take and hold that gives them an advantage, but also can be overtaken. Wide open maps don't allow that. You can't plan and strategize with open maps.I am not a fan of the tight maps like shipment, but I am also not a fan of open maps either.
I agree. And, some may think open maps are good for camping (which I love), but say in Battlefield, unless I camp near the choke points, I don't see people for hours as I am trying to camp off in the distance. All maps should have at a choke point and an area where teams battle to take and hold that gives them an advantage, but also can be overtaken. If you don't like big maps, you won't like WarzoneLooks fun plus a more old school feel? Can’t wait!
Only time I enjoy MW regular MP is on the smaller maps. The medium to big sized maps the MP is really annoying andnot that much fun.
I wonder when they will drop info on what’s coming to Warzone when Cold War launches.

It was a jokeI meant the big MP maps unless you were just making a joke then I’ll at least crack a smile.
To be fair, most of the bigger maps in MW are designed poorly. Most of the maps in general have pretty major flaws to be honest.
The big maps were far too big for 6v6 for the most part. I want a little map strategy, not 10 minutes chasing gunshots hoping to find someone.
I'd love for them to remake a bunch of MW2 maps. Those were always fun and fast, with each playing a little differently.
Is it camper friendly for people like me???The alpha is up on PS4 (open to everyone).
I am not impressed so far. Just feels very old and clunky. I'm sure some will like it who are old school Black Ops fans.
It is only alpha, but the netcode feels heavy with lag comp. I was either wrecking or getting wrecked. Lots of kills where you don't even see the other person, and I killed lots of people who never reacted.
Scorestreaks or whatever are just completely out of control. The sky is constantly filled with spyplanes and chopper gunners. Footsteps are super loud and easy to prefire people again. Ghost and ninja are in the same perk class, so you can only pick one but both are needed (again there's constant spyplane spam).
The maps so far aren't huge, but definitely not run and gun maps. It feels like a "dad" game to the extreme, and I'm old and slow at this point myself. Lots of 2nd story windows and long shooting lanes. Snipers are much more powerful, and there seems to be no scope glint.
The player names are goofy, they are too high on the player model and offset to one side, making it super hard to spot teammates. Hopefully that's something they can fix. The environments are a lot brighter, so you probably won't get the shadow camping you get in MW.
