Yes, it has been, but only because I find the double standard, especially now, insane.

I’m personally all for cross gen, and games going to PC, so I have nothing against those moves. More money for devs with less work is good for them and

I honestly don’t even care for MS as a company, and they don’t need ‘defending.’

I used to be very friendly with one of the OG Xbox engineers, so maybe I have a soft spot because of that, but I just think the Xbox division itself gets an unfair amount of garbage, even after all the changes they’ve made since the horrible X1 debut. They listened, made major consumer-friendly choices, and yet still the BS rarely stops.

And yes, they haven’t been perfect either, I’m well aware.

I’d give Nintendo some sh*t too, but they are less vocal about things (and they are my favorite).

And before anyone posts the tweet some idiot is trying to say the digital edition PS5 isn't backwards compatible, that's a lie and it even says on the official page that the digital edition is BC with PS4 games it's just you obviously can't put a disc in so it'll only work with digital games you own.

Not s***ty at all, the other guy is spreading FUD over such a small difference in the CPU, every 3rd party game that features a 120fps mode on XSX features it on the PS5 as well, it was a stupid thing for Pin head to say. Of course he's been wrong a lot about the PS5 including what was going to be in it and the price point.

Othe console means PS4. I don't think anybody is expecting a Sony owned IP to come to xbox.

Yeah but the forum being filled with negative Sony news doesn't solve that or balance anything out. That doesn't even take into account that a lot of the stuff is true obviously untrue and from people who just want to put out stories for fanboy purposes only.

There is a big difference between posting actual news that happens to be negative and just posting FUD

Although the old one was worse (IMO) it was from 2014. He probably figured people already had screen grabs from it? If I were him, I'd be embarrassed by both, and claim alcohol was involved... they're both just very unprofessional, and come off as toxic. I think that there's more tasteful opinions on this very forum, at least from the mods here and some others. If Being tasteful is that hard, you shouldn't be a public figure... but I guess I'm old school like that.

Well now we don’t know for sure if those games aren’t coming to PS4 too. Remember we were all sure Horizon wasn’t and that wasn’t true. Trust in what Sony says is eroding IMHO.

How can you accidentally put something in a presentation you made, & presume check before release. An accident is when you taking a phot & someone walks past. An accident is when someone knocked you & you drop your coffee. You cannot accidentally buy a coffee.

Must be some POS Sony rep demand they took down to make it look like it is only on PS5.

I would be surprised if MS ( & steam or Epic) did not increase the price. I support whichever platform that did not increase the price. If MS keeps the current price, & PS5 10 bucks more, I will choose Xbox Series X over PS5 in a heartbeat, no matter how good their exclusive is. It's not just about economy, but principle.

Its a baffling mistake but it was obviously a mistake because they wouldn't release their own game on Xbox

And it didn't even make sense for consistency. Games that weren't exclusive or were console exclusive were labeled as such. DS just said exclusive.

I support platforms and services that are consumer friendly.
Epic game store and gamepass aren't for example.

I remember it being some huge issue for next gen XBox. Sony making those statements was pretty s***ty when they were doing the same thing. What's worse is it makes perfect sense, they just wanted to be seen as the only TRUE next gen console because they weren't held back by old hardware.

GoW isn't going to PC and neither is Horizon, Sack Boy or GT. We could keep this list going and it still wouldn't be enough for you to get the point. So their is a difference.

And if everyone expected that price, then we would not have had a dozen comments talking about a $550 to $600 price tag on a lower spec system, don't you think?

This post will not age well. Going to PC might not happen on the same day as console release (yet), but they will go to PC eventually. Count on it.

I’ll bookmark this for future reference.
