Sony has updated the official PS5 Remote Play App for Smartphones while also confirming that they are going to discontinue separate PS Messages app soon.

Sony had confirmed that PS5 will support Remote Play just like the PS4 and PS Vita, however, most people had assumed this meant it would be possible to stream games at a higher resolution than 1080p. After the update today, players can finally choose between the PS4 and PS5, and the resolution choices are confirmed for both as well.

I really don't know what to say about Godfall yet. I hope one of you guys are the guinea pig so I can see how it is.

Go back to the original post, I said 1st party MS games didn't show off the console the way Sony first parties showed off the PS3 but that 3rd parties made the 360 the best place to play.

Killzone had as much going on as Halo games and Gears didn't have much more going on than TLOU, there are part of TLOU where there is a hell of a lot more going on than in most of Gears. Gears is almost always whack a mole game where two or three enemies pop up and down behind cover and it moves at a snails pace. TLOU there are sections with plenty of enemies on screen at once and the playable area is generally larger as well. Yes there are sections in gears here and there that are a bit more chaotic but again it's all very scripted and the enemies almost all look the exact same as each other.
Nah bro. TLOU had way more constricted environments. Gears 2/3 had way more stuff going on. Explosions, number of enemies, More enemy variety and more intelligent AI.

Tlou had more realistic models and much slower paced gameplay. Loved both games. God of War games were the big showcase, imo. Killzone a ln ways looked great, and Halo was more dynamic (and fun ;) ). Different goals and different style.

The PS3 and 360 were both great consoles in their own right. Neck and neck, mostly. It's the weird PS3 was some untapped beast that I have issue with. It was a bitch to program for, that's why emulating it is hard.

So much bitterness in his voice that they didn't get the scoop like they do with Xbox lolz.

His little dig that the SSD isn't removable is funny since you can't open up the Series X to get the internal SSD out either.

The reason it's an untapped beast is because it was a bitch to program for lol.

As far as TLOU/Gears it depends on the area of the game, there are sections where a lot of enemies come at you etc. Gears is often a small section followed by set piece followed by another small section where you fight basically the same 2-3 enemies over and over again, you plug up a hole where those enemies keep spawning from and then eventually you get a vehicle level that also doesn't have much going on but helps break up the whack a mole gameplay. Neither game is some huge wide open expanse with a ton of things going on at once, the only times gears approaches anything like that it's an on rails kind of section.

Sony first party studios showed off the PS3 more than xbox 1st party showed off the 360 IMO, Gears wasn't even developed by an MS studio so their best looking exclusive doesn't even count in the discussion. Most people play 3rd party games though and the 360 pretty much always had a nice advantage in that area.

I'll agree that MS themselves didn't push the machine, but gears was still their exclusive.

If that’s the case can’t the same thing be said for the demon souls remake on ps5?

Theoretically you could open it and exchange it though, when it fails (and it will at some point), harder things is being done on older consoles (DC, Saturn etc), but with it soldered on the way they went with the PS5... That's a big problem.
Of course you'll deny this lol

It was theirs but the point of the discussion was 1st party studios taking advantage of the hardware and MS didn't own EPIC, hell they didn't technically own Gears at the time either.

I will because it's a stupid thing to even bring up lol, when it fails it'll be out of warranty (MS better hope it is) and you'll be better off buying a new console that should have had at least one price drop by that time than paying for a new compatible SSD and the labor for the repair.
