Now the next game pass game I'm playing is Kingdom Hearts via the 1.5 + 2.5 remix. Want to play through the entire series so starting at the beginning and will probably take breaks between games.

Fixed

Kingdom Hearts 1 was pretty straight forward. Its when they introduced the rest of the games that it got convoluted.

Finished up Gravity Rush Remastered. It was a fun game but holy s*** the camera sucked. The combat was a slight mess as well with the main attack button being a face button it was hard to adjust the camera and attack at the same time, especially when you are floating. A lot of times the gravity kick would appear to lock on, then you'd just sail past the enemy. Besides that it was a fun little game and netted me my second platinum behind Horizon Zero Dawn.

Most likely going to go to Uncharted 4 next. I was late to the original trilogy though so never had a rush to get to 4, but damn that game has been out 4 years already.

Finally finished Ghost of Tsushima (PS5). The end gets quite emotional especially between the main character and his uncle. It was a very beautiful , very well made game. I think it went on a bit too long and the side quests, outside of the character side quests, were hit and miss. Also the camera was the bane of my existance in combat. However there is ALOT to build on with this and Sucker Punch may have another franchise on their hands.

Mentioned it in a Switch thread already but currently playing Darkest Dungeon on the switch when I don't feel like getting on the Xbox. Now that I'm getting into it I could see it being a game I sink a ton of hours into. Very addicting. And it makes you think/plan so much that I have had dreams of playing this game lol.

I'm finally getting back into RDR2's campaign after upgrading my PC. Skipping all of the side quests makes the game move along so much faster lol

Oh man, the slowness of that game just bothered me. Felt like I could play for an hour and accomplish nothing and that wasn’t a good thing for me. It was all made worse by your character moving and controlling like a tank

At first, I loved the slow, deliberate animations. But then I realized the 30fps (on console) was starting to bug me, and the infinite number of side activities took me out of the story. My new PC and focus on the campaign missions have resolved all of those issues. I still hate the aiming though.

As I've said before, RDR2 are not for the mainstream CODified millennials that roam the internets today, only a true videogame connoisseur can appreciate the majestic masterpiece that rockstar created

They should up their game this gen and make it so you have to activate each muscle group to move around.

I'm finally halfway through: Half-Life: Alyx, Red Dead Redemption 2, and Cold War. I'm 2/3 of the way through Doom: Eternal. Perhaps I should hold off on Cyberpunk for now?

Are you the type of gamers that must get a game on day one & participate in-game discussion while the game is hot. If the answer is no, then maybe wait until the backlog is done.

It's an old man interactive game. You spend most of the time watching a dude ride a horse, or a group of dudes riding horses while talking.

Answer is definitely no for most games. Honestly, this game looks downgraded to me from the most recent videos they've shown, but I'm hoping it's more that they're just keeping the most glorious sights under wraps for gamers to experience.

If you can wait, they may release the FULL version (include the DLC) later in the line at no extra cost or even discount. I got my horizon zero dawn complete edition (that includes the DLC) 2 years after it release at 20€ (new was 70€). Great value for $.

Also if you wait, likely, most of the bugs will already be resolved.

Just purchased this game with all the dlc for like $20 bucks. People say it's the best AC game. Excited to play it. Eventually....
It's something special no doubt, my fascination with ancient egypt might make me biased but I'd prob make this my favorite AC game and lead character (maybe not the best game in the series though).

Man, I bounced off AC Valhalla pretty hard. Got to England and just... didn’t make me want to keep going. Same thing happened with Odyssey. Oh well, maybe I’ll return in a few months.

Sold the PS4, was done with it. Hadn’t finished Bloodborne yet but I’ll just continue it when I snag a PS5. So now I just have the One X and am playing Cyberpunk and Cold War.

PC taking advantage of this lull by revisiting Diablo 3 for season 22, and jumping into some
Games that got left behind years ago like Stellaris and Divinity Original Sin 2. Feels good to catch up on them because I legit was interested when they came out just... other stuff happened.

Not much coming out for me on the horizon so I’m actually really enjoying just playing some stuff that got lost in the shuffle like that, and just enjoying some games instead of rushing through them due to backlog OCD. Also signed up for Game Pass, looking forward to hitting some games like Doom Eternal as well.

Egypt has a really cool history. What do you consider to be the best gane in the series?

Probably Odyssey, best combat imo, best loot (not overdone imo), best and most rpg choices, least amount of bugs (of the last gen) and a perfectly blend of main and side quests.

Valhall have a great way of giving side quests though, and they're pretty much all interesting.

I decide to reinstall doom 2016 & see if I feel like finishing the game., I was about 80% done when I got bored/Fertiged,

Edit; beat the game finally after 4 years. I was already 85% done when I restarted this afternoon.

Finished Cyberpunk 2077 early this morning. My final thoughts are in that thread. Needless to say there is a good game in there once you get past the hype, bugs/glitches and general unfinished nature of the game. A year or two from now it will really be something to behold.

Beat the first Kingdom Hearts. I actually liked it a lot and look forward to re:chain of memories. But first need a little break from KH so going to do a few short games on game pass that I've wanted to play for a while. Starting with Oxenfree.

Also I'm beyond obsessed with Darkest Dungeon now so been playing that a lot too.
