Reach is great. It's also the first game 343 worked on with Bungie. Also the first time they used MoCap on the human characters in cutscenes. I remember being so happy about that because human animation was always subpar .Actually never played Reach. Tempted to reinstall MCC and do another playthrough to hit it, but may just wait until Infinite is closer to git hype.
A few buddies and I played through the campaign on Heroic this week. Game was great except for the mission where you fly around all the skyscrapers, that mission SUCKEDReach is great. Battle Royale incomingThis was from the MCC development blog on Waypoint, updated on Feb 5th:
If all goes well, later this month or early next month is when we plan to roll out our next public flight. Some of the items we are hoping (things can change) to have make it into this flight are as follows:
- FOV slider support for all Xbox One consoles
- FOV slider will no longer be locked when Xbox Series S|X devices are set to 120hz
- Additional ways to customize controls
- Additional Keybindings
- Mouse & Keyboard Support for consoles
- View Model Adjustments
- And maybe a new place and way to play
Interesting. I know it's coming for Halo Infinite, though. Seems like a waste to add something that intensive instead of just leaving it for the FTP online successor coming out in a few months, IMO.Battle Royale incoming
Maybe, but I'm really surprised they haven't added it to MCC earlier...I mean, it's not much to it, just a few tweeks to the playlist and it's basically BR.Interesting. Depends how they implement it... I agree that it's surprising we didn't get something like 2 years ago on MCC. As it is now, I think they will go big on Infinite FTP, and have most premium skins free for the Gamepass or paid versions.Maybe, but I'm really surprised they haven't added it to MCC earlier...I mean, it's not much to it, just a few tweeks to the playlist and it's basically BR.
I'm assuming it's mobile / cloud gaming support.Battle Royale incoming

That should tell you how popular that game is now.MCC was not so great out of the gate. What a turn around. 20 years later people are still buying and playing Halo CE! On the Xbox Series X!
I've recently played through Halo 4 and playing 5 now, as I never played those campaigns at all, and it's interesting to see them in their best form. Neither taking place on a ring world of their namesake always bothered me, but I can now see how they were going for something different, which I kind of have to respect. Halo 4 graphics were just top notch on Series X, but honestly, I'm going to end it with playing 3 over again, right before Infinite. I think that one is now my favorite Halo. It looked phenomenal on One X, and I teased myself with some Series X gameplay using the new MCC FOV slider. On a big screen, the FOV at 90⁰-100⁰+ not only plays better, but looks so much more next-gen, especially at 60fps. What they have done with improving the campaigns on MCC is just pure wizardry! Halo 5 OTOH, could already use a little love in some of the same areas.I need to go back and play through all of them in order leading up to Halo Infinite.
I played em all in the 4/120 modes and....These games don't hold up well in gameplay or visuals.
Are you doing the campaigns?First time I've played this in ages and it feels like a different game.
Super quick loading on Series X as well
