I am not gay, but gonna say Chris Redfield looks badass & ruggedly good-looking in this game.

Almost done with the game. Playing as we speak. I am now Chris and he's badass.

Completed the game. Probably going to do another run on the hardest setting. Looking forward to DLC.

Maybe a bit side topic, but I foind out there are some animated RE movies, & I watched 2017 one. Pretty decent though a bit over the top at times like like a Bollywood action film

Will watch also the 2008 & 2021 ones, but they ain't free on Prime.

Going for 4 achievements right now in the same play through.

Knife Only
Beat the Game under 3 hours
Use Leas than 4 heals
Spend under 10,000

I am about half way or so through the boat house section and have 1HR 9MIN for my time.

The second half was hilarious, it's like watching every set piece in RE6 cramped into one long scene lol
Good fun though

Wait... Maybe it's the 2021 I'm thinking about... The last scenes are on a rooftop?

I mean to say 2012, Not 2021. I think the 2021 version (on Netflix) was not out yet,

I've seen the new one... But I don't think it was on Netflix... Maybe some other swedish streaming service... "Into darkness" or something (I'm to lazy to do the Google)?
Oh, maybe. Then I have more to catch up.

Infinite Darkness. It isn't available here in the US until July on Netflix.

You killed Miranda with a knife?

Yup. You can only use a gun during the final couple shots when she is holding you.

You can use a gun to shoot the bells and to knock things over that you can’t reach with your gun, but that’s it. The hardest part, because it took so long, is when you drop down a hole as a certain someone and you can’t use the laser target. It takes for ever with the knife.

I love the game, but it's a one-time experience game for me, like most single-player games to be fair. But I am happy people get enjoyment from the game for repeat playthrough.

Yeah, me too. Sold it this morning. Paid about $10 for the experience. Happy with it.

Playing through this now, I’m not a big Resident Evil guy but this is gonna be my favorite I think. Love love love the graphics, they’ve got a photo realistic quality if that makes sense. Looks amazing with raytracing on.

I’m also loving the gameplay. The balance of action and horror is great, and on standard the boss fights are fun and not frustrating. The gunplay is also better than I thought but not action game good, but it fits the gameplay really well.

The setting in the village is also a high point for me, and there’s plenty of secrets to hunt. I just left the castle and am now on to the setting boss area which is much spookier. Like starseeker I am hoarding resources so I’ve been surprised that I haven’t had to manage the inventory a bunch which is awesome because I hate that.

Overall at the halfway point I’m at least thinking 9/10, probably higher, so looking forward to how the rest of the game stacks up

I recommend everyone play it on Village of Shadows difficulty at some point. Not only is it harder, but bosses react differently and enemies spawn in different places.

Just need to get the Mercenaries achievements to 100% this game.

Beat it 3 times. Loved every second of it.

Not a big fan of hard modes, how much more difficult is it on that setting?

Its really not that bad until you get to the stronghold. From there to the end it’s a pain in the ass. However I ran through with Chris’s machine gun with unlimited ammo and just spent all my time and money into meds.

Werewolves look different too or maybe I'm just seeing things.

Yeah they seem very different actually. More wild looking if that makes sense. Plus the boss battles have added things to them as well.
